Okay, so, I thought reviewers were lying when they said how sharp these were. They were not. They are very sharp and well worth the money! We usually only buy name brand scissors (starts with an ‘F’ and is -the- brand for scissors), but I was tired of buying the expensive stuff only to have them ‘walk off.’ So! After extensive research, I bought these. I know you’re not supposed to use scissors this way, but I got my Mom to cut my hair with them and absolutely no complaints. I don’t know about you, but I am one of those people that likes having scissors within easy reach no matter where I am around the house. This set is really nice and I like that it’s a 3 pack – not too many to have extras but I have one in every place that I tend to want them in my home. They have held up to a ton of use and haven’t dulled at all. I am the person who has destroyed flimsy scissors in the past, so I’m happy that these hold up well to opening innumerable Amazon packages of all sorts. Plus, two of the three scissors come in fun colors! The purple one is my primary pair in the kitchen for package opening, and the green pair live in my art making room – both have held up remarkably well for all the work I put them through. Ordered a set of these after all of our other scissors came up magically missing. With four kids you know how that goes. So far they’ve worked out great and feel very solid, not flimsy is like some of the other brands. For the price and quality and you can’t beat them. As you would expect from Amazon brand. Good stuff and good price. Check Warehouse Deals. I got my 3-set cheaper there. The blades are a good thickness, unlike normal cheapo scissors which can have thin metal and flex under pressure. Nice colours, if you like that sort of thing. A++Read more

Was surprised at how difficult it is to get decent quality, sharp scissors that just work! The handles aren’t too tight or too loose, unlike my previous purchase and they seem pretty sturdy. Great to have different colour handles, as my Hubby has a habit of taking them from the kitchen and “accidentally” hiding them under things. Now I’ve claimed the purple ones as mine, the green ones fit nicely in the holder on the fridge (left over from a previous pair of “multi purpose” scissors that broke when dropped!) and the orange ones are kept in the kitchen drawer where they belong! I don’t understand why these have such high ratings. I bought 3x pairs of Scotch scissors three years ago and was thinking it was time to replace them. These were cheaper so figured why not. They can cut decently but are absolutely miserable to use with wrapping paper. Regardless of the thickness of the paper, not a single pair of these scissors was able to glide. Instead, the tore the paper into jagged little edges. Should’ve spent the extra and gotten Fiskars.Read more

Got a three pack of these and put one in each of the drawers in my house where I am always looking for a pair, very happy I did so considering my local grocery wanted the same price for a single scissor. The blades are SHARP, not to pointing at the end so you don’t have to worry about stabbing yourself, but sharp enough that you can slice wrapping paper or even thicker things in a single motion. Handles are easy to grip. Hit the connection with a spray of WD40 (or vegetable oil) if they are pinched too tightly together.Read more

Best pack of scissors, and a great deal. They’re all very sharp. I put one in my kitchen to use as cooking shears, put one for everyday use, and the last I’m saving for the right time. I confess I bought these scissors on a whim. I was thinking they cost just over £12 and I can always return them if necessary. The reality is that they’re sturdy and well-made with comfortable handles. Most importantly, however, they smoothly and effortlessly cut a range of materials including paper, card, tissue paper, various types of fabric and adhesive tape. Cutting adhesive tape is the ultimate test and one which defeats many scissors. These accomplished it perfectly with nothing impeding the cutting action or sticking to the blades. They cut evenly and smoothly along the length of the blades and give the impression they’ll last forever. I’ve owned Fiskars and other high-quality scissors in the past but these knock them all into touch. Ignore the reviews complaining they’re not all-titanium. The titanium fusing (a form of case hardening I suspect) is there to prolong the life of the stainless steel blades and minimise wear, corrosion or the chance of anything sticking to them. It beats me how anyone can sell such a good product at such a low price. (They’re now less than a tenner for three pairs.) I’m keeping one pair for regular use and the other two as spares. If you want a great pair of scissors but dont want to pay the earth I would totally recommend these. They come in multiple colours and look great. They are easy to use and comfortable, but not for little hands (Kids) Take care that the kids dont get hold of them because they are sharp. Excellent purchase at a very reasonable price.
