I have noticed that these gloves often fail (leak) when I wear them, exposing my hands to whatever noxious substance I was handling. The reason is that these flimsy gloves are only 3.5 mils thick! A “mil” is a milli-inch, or one thousandth of an inch. I have found that gloves thinner than 6 mils cannot be relied on. The thicker the glove material, the better the protection. For heavy tasks, or when handling really nasty stuff, I wear latex gloves that are 14 mils thick, sold on Amazon at the following URL: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IRVIUO2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Read more

I love these gloves. They are a bit pricier than other XL gloves on the market, but they hold up so much better and are actually sized as an XL. I have quite large hands, most XL gloves are a tight fit on me, I prefer 2XL but they are just so expensive. I use tons of gloves taking many pair off and on in short periods. Theses gloves are loose enough on my hands to easily get them on, even with damp hands, and they rarely rip. Maybe one out of every 20 or 30 gloves will rip as I am putting it on. That is great seeing as other brands I have bought 2 out of every 10 would rip. If you need a great reliable glove this is the brand to go with.Read more

I am a professional auto mechanic but where I live, I occassionaly get axed to help our local doc preform prostate checks when he is out on the farms. I don’t mind but on several times the gloves ripped on me. It’s ok as I keep handy wipes nearby and they cleen us up darn good. So in order to stop that, I’ve learned to double glove on medical stuff. It is real funny that I can take apart a peterbuilt motor and not rip one glove but if I check over six patients with the same gloves……..they rip. Go figure.Read more

I have large hands with thick fingers and the “Dealmed Brand Nitrile Medical Grade Exam Gloves, Disposable, Latex-Free, 180 Count, Size Extra Large” fit me just right. These are not sturdy or heavy duty gloves but for inexpensive disposable gloves they work just fine. The only issue I have is that they have put 180 gloves in a 100 glove box and you just about have to destroy the box to get the gloves out. Not a big deal for me, I’m keeping them in the garage and will use a resealable container anyway but if you planing on using the original box to dispense the gloves forget it, it’s not going to happen.Read more

TLDR version: Good gloves, they do the job, just don’t expect them to hold up under heavy use. Pros: They fit my XL sized hands, they can stand up to medium-duty use, the box will probably last me the rest of my life, as I know I can only use them for tasks that aren’t too tasking. If you use them for medical tasks, they should keep your hands germ-free. Cons: They’re not as resilient as I had hoped. If I were purchasing again, I would get a mil thicker box, maybe 2 mils… It’s really my own fault for being inexperienced with this kind of glove, and not researching them hands-on (pun intended, don’t hate on puns 😉 If you plan to use these for working on your car, lawnmower, or woodworking, go thicker.Read more

I got these years ago for doing ‘Home Mechanics’ AKA, YouTube Mechanics , on my car years ago when my vehicle was on it’s last legs. Back then I only paid around $13.00 for the 180pack but I think they’re around $40.00 now, because of Covid and the gloves shortage that happened.Read more

These are excellent sanitary nitrile gloves without the talcum powder that so manyt people are allergic to. They are properly sized…extra large is extra large…not small like with other brands. Very tough and great for dirty jobs around the house. I don them whenever cleaning the yard of its few day collection of doggie diamonds. And they are clean enough to wear when you are making a meatloaf or meatballs or bread dough and using your hands to do the mixing/kneading. Once you start using these gloves for messy or dirty jobs (like cleaning the bathroom), you’ll wonder how you got by without them.Read more

I use these for light-duty home chores where I don’t want to expose my hands to chemicals (like weed killer, gutter sealant, caulk) but I need flexibility and enough glove strength that I can spread a bead of caulk with a finger or operate an electric screwdriver. For those jobs, I’ve found these gloves to be perfect. The gloves are easy enough to put on and take off, and none have ripped under normal use. I have large hands, so I needed XL size gloves; one-size-fits-all doesn’t work for me. If I were dealing with more hazardous materials where I couldn’t afford even the possibility of a tear or puncture, I’d use much heavier gloves. But these are sufficient for all my home projects.Read more
