It might not work with machines that have triangular or other non-circular intake channels. Before ordering our deshedding kit, please double check if your own vacuum cleaner has a circular intake channel.

I Purchased the ‘Defurry Pet Vacuum’ several months ago. I was quite ill at the time and was looking for a few items to help make my life easier. I have a Large German Shepard Service Dog that is a frequent Shedder and I needed a device to help with her shedding. I came across the Defurry and after reading the reviews I made my choice. It arrived quickly and undamaged. All of the pieces were in the box and well packaged. After returning home and reuniting with my dog, I found that my strength was not that good. To make a long story-review short, I was worried that the product would not work for me. I contacted Taojiali and they went Out of Their Way to assist me. From making sure that I had a good seal to the vacuum, to suggesting alternate ways of grooming. (I’m new to the world of being a Dog mom.) There instructions were helpful and now that I have the proper tools I’m able to control the furrrr. This is an Honorable Seller! This product works well, however the ease of use largely depends on your dog, the type of vacuum you use. In addition I don’t know if the effort of connecting the vacuum up is worth the time saved just manually removing the hair. If the hair removal and disposal portion of grooming is more time consuming for your dog than getting a vacuum set up and operating it during the process then this may be a good product for you. [Vacuum Selection] The kit does come with a hose adapter a standard vacuum hose and an adapter that fits in this connection to adapt to smaller hand held units. In case you are wondering the adapter is not large enough to fit a shop vac. [Floor Vacuum usage] Unfortunately our floor vacuum (Shark) has an long extension rod so attaching to that is difficult to connect. If you do use a floor vac you should have plenty of hose to work with however you will need to think about how your dog will react to the large floor vac being on. Ours does not like vacuums. [Handheld usage] I can attach it to a handheld dyson using a included adapter that fits inside the products other universal fit adapter. This works well and you can see it in the video. the only issue is you need one hand to hold the handheld and one hand to brush. If you need a 3rd hand to keep your dog from walking away then well, you’ll need an assistant. In addition I can quickly turn on the vacuum just when I need it and it doesn’t bother our dog too much.Read more

My English Labrador sheds like it’s his job so I have, and will continue, to try all means to lessen it! This seemed perfect because my dog has no fear of the vacuum and it’s a way to brush him inside without spreading hair around. Like my title says I have an older shark that apparently isn’t ideal. I did get it to attach with the use of the adapter but the extension hose didn’t work so I had to attach it directly to the vac hose. It worked but it was awkward to control. Since it not being compatible isn’t really the products fault I tried to keep that out of my rating. There are some issues I had with the product. I wouldn’t recommend this for a large power shedding dog. Yes it removes hair and yes it sucks it up like it says it will. However the brush head is very small and I had to let the suction remove the fur each pass. On a dog that you can make pass after pass and still be pulling off fur this 8 is very inefficient. I would have to run my vacuum a half hour to do what I could do outside in 5 minutes with a larger undercoat brush. Or I could brush him inside then throw away a huge pile of fur and vacuum the rest in under half the time. I can see this for a smaller dog or a very compliant cat, but for a large dog where in 5 minutes you remove as much fur as a small dog has on its entire body it just takes way too long for me to want to use. So yes, it works but I think it’s better suited to smaller pets!Read more

My Lab/Border Collie mix sheds like no other dog. The vet thinks it as something to do with hormones since it happens after she has a false pregnancy (she is a 13 year old rescue dog). It is too much shedding for this tool. However, once she loses it and as gets back to normal I used it and it did keep the normal bits of shedding off of the floor and into the vacuum cleaner.Read more
