This is the worst brush I have ever purchased, the bristles are falling apart within just a few days of use.very disappointed with this. Also I would recommend munchkin brand over this, which is much more strong n better than this one.it doesn’t clean the bottle properly. No use of buying. I bought it after seeing good reviews, but I would not recommend it.Read more

We use Dr. Brown’s bottles and the first brush we bought was the cheaper Munchkin one from Target (Munchkin Sponge Bottle Brush, Blue ). The choice was made mainly due to its cheaper cost and with the thought “its just a bottle brush, how much better can a more expensive brush be. Dr. Brown’s brush is just charging premium for its brand name”. Boy was I wrong ! Dr. Brown’s brush is way better hands down. The bristles are softer, more dense and the as a whole looks and feels better constructed. The nipple brush is pretty efficient and small things like not needing to unscrew it from the bottom of the brush ( like Munchkin) makes a lot of difference when you are cleaning bottles twice a day everyday ! All in all, I won’t hesitate to buy this brush in the future (though I am guessing the one I bought will last us a long time). Though this is Dr. Brown’s brand, this brush is generic enough to be used for any bottles. If using their brand bottles, you still need to use the small slender vent cleaning brush separately though.Read more

It’s ok, but I bought the OXO Tot Bottle Brush at the same time, and that works much better for me. I use these to clean glass tea tumblers, and Stainless Steel travel mugs. This one has the spongy top, and doesn’t clean the bottoms of the bottles right. I always see the black tea residue at the bottom, and try to scrub, but because of the spongy bits, there’s only a tiny surface (where the metal bit inside holds it up), so the bottoms don’t get clean. Also, the OXO Tot Bottle Brush has harder/better bristles which just get the sides of my bottles clean. This one has too thin bristles and requires a lot of up/down movements to clean anything. Since this one is a bit thinner, it might be better for easily breakable bottles. However for mhy purposes, the OXO is much better (although it looks like a toilet brush lol). I wouldn’t buy again….Read more

What makes this bottle brush stand out to me is the suction-cup stand and the nipple-washing nib on the bottom. The sponge and brush work as well as the dollar store brush we had on hand, but the ability to stand it upright next to the sink to dry out between uses and the textured end for getting formula residue out of the nipple makes this one my go-to bottle brush. Warning to others- this brush did go bald fairly quickly (a couple months?) and cleaning up the bristles was a pain, but I think this was because of the way it’s used in our house. My husband bends the brush to an angle in order to scrub and I bend the brush back to use it, so it got bent back and forth multiple times a day. We’re replacing it with two- a Mom brush and a Dad brush to see if that improves it’s longevity The photos show our sad, naked bristle end (note the way the wires at the bottom have loosened entirely from the bending) and the FANTASTIC nipple washer.Read more

This is my third baby bottle brush, and it looks like it’s gonna be my last! I tried 2 other brands; 1 lower end price and another more expensive brush and I had issues with both. I love the sponge and bristle combo, it cleans more thoroughly. Also, as small as it may seem, the fact that the nipple attachment is connected to the bottom of the brush where you don’t have to unscrew it, just flip it over to use, makes my life that more convenient. When you wash bottles and sippy cups for both an infant and a toddler, those few seconds of convenience matter. This was my first Dr. Brown’s brand purchase and I love it.Read more

I’m a first time mom who recently had a baby. I had absolutely no idea what was needed or what to register for besides the big ticket items (i.e. cribs, swings, high chairs, ect…). I like to bottle feed my baby breast milk (especially at night) and would sterilize the bottles daily. However, this chore became too cumbersome. Within a week of using a baby bottle, I realized I needed a bottle brush. I looked for the most inexpensive brush with the best reviews, which just happened to be Dr. Browns. Here is my analysis of the brush below: 1. The brush fits all different bottles perfectly. So far, I have used the brush on my Comotomo bottles, Advent Natural Bottles, and Spectra bottles. 2. I love that there is a sponge on top of the bottle. As such, this brush requires very little soap to adequately clean the bottle. 3. I wish they had something on the end of the brush to clean the top of the nipple, which is too small for the brush to get into. 4. The brush holder has an amazing suction cup that keeps the brush upright at all times. This is really helpful for just grabbing the brush on the go and not having to look for it. Overall, this brush was a fantastic purchase. This product deserves FIVE stars!!Read more

I have Dr. Brown bottles for my baby. That is what the hospital used and recommended because my little one was born at 28 weeks. I have tried other bottle brushes, but I like this one because if you use it with a Dr. Brown bottle, the sponge at the end is flexible. It can squeeze through and come out easily. When I have used other bottle brushes with the Dr. Brown bottles, I get sprayed with water while trying to pull it out. It even has a nipple cleaner at the bottom. I think it is great! Things I have noticed though, the sponge does tear. The part where the bristles are— that can bend so be careful. Haven’t come across other problems. By far this is a great one if you are using Dr. Brown bottles.Read more

I use the doctor brown bottles, so makes sense to have their brush. I was using a tommee tippee one. However if you have Dr Brown bottles, you need the Dr Brown brush really. It’s fits the bottles perfectly when cleaning. The only downside to this product is it doesn’t last long. I’ve had three now in the past three and a half months. The sponge bit starts to tear, and the bristles start to flatten.Read more

Last brush we had lasted about 7 months. Considering the amount of use and abuse it got, I think that was pretty good. Comes with a little sucker type stand which is not overly effective, but does allow you to keep the brush upright if you so choose. Did a good job of cleaning the bottlesRead more

The brush it’s self i liked but the quality must be poor as mines has broken off after only 3 months! We don’t have a dish washer and it’s never been in the sterilizer to weaken, so its soley only ever been used to wash the Dr Brown bottles at the sink. So for this to snap after only 3 months suggests poor quality or I have been sold one that was slightly faulty.Read more

Only lasted a month but gave it two stars as it was great before it fell apart. For anyone else looking to clean Dr brown bottles, I bought the munchkin deluxe bottle brush and adapted it. I trimmed the blue bristles near the handle as they made soap spray everywhere and I discarded the teat brush that screws into the bottom. I then removed the top of the Dr brown bottle brush and squeezed its teat cleaner end into the munchkin brush. It fits perfectly. I now have one great bottle brush for Dr brown bottles. I hope this review is helpful to some people as it’s hard enough cleaning Dr brown bottles. I just wish Dr brown would just make a decent bottle brush then I wouldn’t have had to adapt my own!Read more
