(16 customer reviews)

PORTABLE INDUCTION COOKTOP: Duxtop induction cooktop uses 110/120V 15 amp electrical outlet–standard in all North American homes. ETL-listed and built to North American electrical standards. It is lightweight and compact for easy handling and storage. Portable induction burner is perfect for dormitories, home kitchens, RVs, boats, etc.
BUILT-IN & PORTABLE USE: This induction hot plate can be built-in or used as a countertop burner, with an elegant design that’s the perfect size for your kitchen. A thin and light portable countertop burner makes the unit suitable for both purposes. The sleek sensor panel with a built-in LED screen is sensitive to touch, making the hot plate extremely easy to operate.
HIGH EFFICIENCY: Choose from 15 preset power levels (200W to 1800W) and 15 preset temperature level settings (140°F to 460°F). With an 83% energy efficiency rating, the Duxtop induction cooktop is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves yet provides quick heat-up and faster cooking times.
SAFE & EASY TO CLEAN: A safety lock button keeps the cooking and timer settings from being accidentally changed once set and prevents children from turning the unit on. With no open flame or heating element, it’s easy to clean—just wipe with a damp towel.
INDUCTION READY COOKWARE & WARRANTY: Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose cookware with a magnetic bottom whose diameter is at least 5 inches. If you have any questions about our product, please contact our customer service team. We will address your concern to the best of our ability.

It screams!! It makes a ultra high pitch sound that we can barely hear (~18,000hz) at 80db, that’s as loud as a gas powered lawn mower/leaf blower according to the CDC! It is so intense and high that if it was the only stove I had, I would rather eat my food cold unless everyone in my house wears hearing protection while we cook. If I can’t return it, I will certainly throw it away. However, it does cook wonderfully! It is so fast and easy, but I have only cooked two things on it, and that’s all I ever will. Without protection, I think this is a safety hazard.Read more

I’ve been in places with gas stoves or ceramic top, so when I moved to an apartment with the electric coils stove I knew I needed something else. Enter this cooktop. I bought it with a 10in MSMK Nonstick Skillet Frying Pan (also on Amazon) as none of my cookware is induction compatible (and i needed a smaller skillet anyway). It’s not too heavy (probably about the same weight as a pan) and it can be tucked in a corner without taking up much space. I used it for breakfast and was immediately blown away at how easy and efficient it is. No heat is lost, the food was cooked thoroughly, and it responded as quickly as a gas range would. There IS some whirring when you operate it (you ARE creating an electric current against a material) but other reviews claiming that it’s loud are overblown and after a while you barely notice it. I will eventually either get a second burner or a two-burner set so I can do more things but so far, this is definitely a great purchase. Do keep it away from any other metal (so placing it on the stove is a no-no), and keep your watches, phones, and other sensitive items away unless you wanna find corrupted memory.Read more

I purchased this product reluctantly. I am not a fan of electric cooking. However, this little gem is awesome induction cooking, I am sold. I have a mini kitchen in a Next-Gen home that I share with my daughter and family. I thought I might use the tiny cooktop to heat up some soup., well no I cook all types of things in as short amount of time as on a gas top. Of course cooking for a big family on a one burner isn’t going to work but for one it works great. It shuts off when you remove the pot/skillet. Cools down and heats up quickly, has multiple heat settings. I cannot say it enough, how pleased I am. I definitely will recommend this product. Thank you – EvaRead more

I purchased this cooktop for use in my RV. Initial testing in my house, and in my RV when connected to a 30 amp shore power source, it works great. Unfortunately, I could not get it to heat 2 cups of water after 10 minutes using power from my 3000 watt modified sine wave inverter. The unit powered on and made the usual noises, but never heated the water. I really liked the cooktop and would recommend it, but I need an induction cooktop that will cook whether my RV is plugged in or when I am relying on my 3000 watt inverter powered by my 300 watts of solar panels and my LiFePO4 battery bank. I will be returning the Duxtop and will try a different brand induction cooktop.Read more

I was excited at first until it was time to use it. The noise of this is horrible. So loud and even when I spent money for new induction cookware, it still did NOT work. Do not buy this!Read more

I got this to see if it would work off my solar generator…… it works great! This means I can use this in an off grid situation, camping, power outages….it heats up so fast that you can barely cut the veggies fast enough before the oil in the pan is ready…. As far as any sound is concerned at high temperatures, this thing is blazing hot at level 4.5……. So I can’t imagine how hot it would be at level 8! I love it.Read more

This is awesome. We purchased for our boat as our standard electric stovetop took 20 minutes to boil water and was lousy for holding a temperature. This cooktop plugs in and will have water boiling in less than 10 minutes. Easy to use and looks good. I plan to purchase a second one to install directly in the counter.Read more

Have used an induction cook top for at least 6 years and will never be without one. A friend asked me to order him one after watching me cook on mine, so this is what I chose for him. Induction cooking is fast and a great way to go. Am so glad the U.S. is catching up to this way of cooking. Would recommend and buy again from this seller.Read more
