This is so great, it works in the off position. I’m glad they filtered out any review below 5 star, how is that allowed. Ordered 2, both work in the off position. Only rated 5 star so it doesn’t get filtered.Read more

Replace the old incandescent bulbs. They were super dim, super hot and a very dark light that was a better night light than anything else. These are cool to the touch the light is nice and white and definitely brighter. They say they’re dimmable but my Microwave/hood has a high and low. These bulbs flicker on a low setting and for the most part useless cause theyll give you a headache. I only use the bright light anyway so I am happy enough. Would recommendRead more

As far as being a light bulb producing light, it works. However, when screwed into the microwave the light came on and will not turn off no matter the setting. The microwave is new, and the original bulb shut off when turned off. Interestingly, I saw another review stating this had occurred for them but assumed it was a faulty device, it most likely was the light bulb. I could overlook this except for the fact that being on constantly will negate the “energy savings”, and honestly it really isn’t that much brighter than the original.Read more

Replaced hot and high energy use halogens. Just as bright but much cooler in operation, and the soft-white is superior to the nasty too-blue daylight types of LED bulbs. These also work with our microwave’s two-level switch. However, after just a few months, both bulbs are now flickering; this is exceedingly annoying. We have LED bulbs in other fixtures in our house and some of them are doing it too. I think this is some “COMMON DEFECT” of LED bulbs, that appears after just a few months of use. LED replacements claim very long lives, and I’m about to toss these in the trash and go back to halogens. I’m subtracting stars here unless/until I get replacements that will last.Read more

Worked in my whirlpool microwave. Kinda dim. The ones from menards don’t have the long bottom tit like this one has and won’t work in mine. Found these, and they work. Will try to find a brighter one.Read more

How is the sheerness? It’s not a nightgown, morons. You cannot beat LED lamps for brightness, clarity, efficiency, and not getting too hot. I have exchanged every lamp in my house with LED’s now that I replaced these in my built-in over-counter microwave. Always buy the 5000k natural light, changes the entire look of your house and cheap to burn.Read more
