This game is fun to play, it has a lot of cool stuff the first game didn’t have. And it’s neat to play with two people. BUT there are so many glitches if you’re a single player! I should have kept a notebook as I played through because wow there were a lot. Enough to make it not really possible to totally complete the game as much as you should. I had to reset it not once but twice and once I got around a previous glitch, I encountered another. I had to look for walkthroughs online and found a lot of other people complaining of very similar problems. Many folks have gone as far as to contact Nintendo and Disney to report the issues and seek solutions, yet often are not given an answer other than to restart the game. You know what your parents would say, “I’m not mad, just disappointed.” Thant sums up how I feel about this game. But I’m still a little mad.Read more

I got this because somehow I survived the previous game and I kept adoring it afterward for it’s unlockable mini movies and the story itself with the unloved oswald and disney’s forgotten works. I actually enjoy that there’s voice acting to this game now, especially since they’re done so well. The only real issue I have with it is- well 2. I don’t want to use my gamepad to play by myself, the aiming isn’t as fun, and 2nd… I don’t have someone willing to be my player 2 for this game. There is an issue with that as well. I can’t get a lot of the treasures that are located in certain places that require Oswald, and there’s no option for me to switch to player 2 while soloing so… while I enjoy Oswald doing his thing and taking care of the business I can’t get to, it would be really useful if there was a way I personally can control Oswald without connecting another controller. Other than this, which is basically making me procrastinate going any further, it’s really as charming as a game as the first one.Read more

I just finished up Epic Mickey 2 for the Wii U, and here are some differences from the 1st one. This one is not as long, not as complicated either, but some parts the difficulty shoots up too much, be prepared to die 1000 times on these parts! The camera is downright annoying in some parts, and you will die because the camera won’t show you the angle you need. Oswald is super annoying too, half the time he won’t do what you need him to. An improvement is the sketches are unlimited in this one. You have to unlock them with E-tickets in a shop, but once you unlock one they stay that way, which is nice. I don’t think this game deserves the bad ratings as much as it has on Amazon. It isn’t THAT bad. I think people who hated the 2nd, really didn’t care for the 1st.Read more

This game is fun especially with 2 players and the painting aspect of the game. Seeing a game with such a colorful and diverse world is a much welcomed sight when you have all these darker depressing games. Sometimes you just like to sit back and play something where colors light up everything. Sadly the downside with this game is that they didn’t really optimize it. The console has ran much harder games yet this simple game can get lag pretty bad when you’re moving around in the larger areas. If you can look past the lag you’ll notice that the cinematics or the cartoon videos add a nice way to tell a story and will keep you engaged. Finding out what to do in certain areas can be frustrating and time consuming, but worth it once you figure it out. I’d definitely suggest buying it if you can look past these technical issues.Read more

Bought this for my daughters (5 and 6), they are extremely new to video games and parts are a little challenging for them. So much so, they generally pick this game last. Seems like a cute game. I hope they will want to give it a second chance later. Until then it sits on the shelf.Read more

wanted a back up Mario game for when we complete it. the intro and the first section are as good as the original game on wii..visually clearer.. have to use the round top buttons to look around and spray paint in the direction you want, so there is a learning curve.. will play more when beat Mario.. good for under 20 dol.. playing together with my wife for a few min was hard to figure out, hope just need practice.. enemies not too hard, and not easy to get stuck..Read more
