I think it kind of has an odd but not off putting smell, if that makes sense. But this nipple cream is the best stuff I have ever used (I’ve had 4 kids). This will be a staple baby gift for future reference from me, and if I ever have another I’ll be getting this before I deliver. TMI train ahead for sensitive folk: But this round of breastfeeding started off awful. She made my nipples so sore and cracked/chapped/blistered (literally had rows of blisters on blisters at one point). It was so bad I was in tears with even a nipple shield. I saw this stuff and tried it. It was night and day. I’m talking near instant relief. In a couple of days I could nurse without the shield and without being brought to tears. Love this stuff!Read more

My wife is 8+ months into nursing mainly pumps, only recently began to have issues with clogged ducts, mastitis chapped nipples, pumping blood filled bottles 2-3x now this far into nursing. Started using this cream to help heal the chapped nipples / milk blisters. She applies this daily after the last bottle is pumped after showering right before bed, has seen a major improvement, more comfort while pumping. It’s important to prevent chapped nipples but what most people don’t know is that more issues will follow from over moisturizing. This product smells very well, easily apply the amount you need without wasting, (nursed after using ** My son refused to latch possibly was unfamiliar with the taste? but latched much later with the cream still on, NO RASHES or allergic reactions) Very HAPPY with with purchase, great for moms who are looking for comfort/healing.Read more

Full on complaint! 1st you sent me an expired product that exp 06/20 … We are in 7/21. Big no no in my book. 2nd it wasn’t smooth,it was gritty and looked like it was decomposing. Realized it was probably so since it’s expired by over a year. 3rd it stinks, a cross smell between cocoa and sweat. 4th, it’s sticky, and thick it didn’t spread easy and I didnt see what the hype was all about in the reviews, my nipple pain was still an ongoing burning issue, the cracking was still there and I got the feeling baby can taste it and she doesn’t like it.Read more

I decided to use this product instead of lanolin after the recent birth of my newborn—and I love it! The smell is much more appealing than lanolin, the smooth texture makes it easy to apply (and not sticky like lanolin) and the size of the container will outlast my need for it. I checked with the lactation consultant before using it and she confirmed that it was safe for both me and my newborn. I wish I had known about this product with my other children—I think it is far superior to lanolin.Read more

As a new first time mom (my baby is a week old) I already love the feel of this product! When I first started breast feeding my breasts were killing me, but this has really helped! Pros: -Super soothing….really feels like melting butter in your hands. Provides instant relief for my aching nipples -little bit goes a long way -No offensive or perfumes scent Cons: -Not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but there are little bead like pieces of the butter …made it a little hard to determine how much you really need to dig out the first few times. All in all I would still recommend this product and have been advising my pregnant girlfriends to use this too!Read more

I’ve tried several all natural nipple creams and ointments. This has my favorite texture by far, which is a fairly solid ointment. And doesn’t have a weird smell. Highly recommended for moisture and cracking. HOWEVER, if your nipple are sore, this one won’t help. I also tried the Earth Mama-Angel Baby Natural Nipple Butter. The texture of that one is more oily with small chunks in it. I don’t love that. Also, it doesn’t stink, but the smell isn’t as pleasant as this one. BUT, it actually helps with nipple pain. It makes them less sore. So, that’s a big win.Read more

My #1 hack with this balm: if you’re really chapped/blistered/dry/etc, rub a huge glob onto some nursing bra inserts. Then put them on and relish in feeling better! The relief is immediate and everything heals so quickly after soaking in this wonderful moisturizer. First time mom getting the hang of breast feeding and I don’t know where I’d be without this product.Read more

I bought this for my wife, and she is only 3 months pregnant. She complains about her nipples being dry, tender, and sore so I got this for her to try and she likes it. It has the consistency of chapstick. As far as I know she likes it. It has a decent smell, goes on smooth, clear, and can be used for many applications other than nipple cream.Read more

Been using this less than a week, prepping my nipples before breath feeding commences! Haha. So far it has a mild body butter type scent, a really hard consistency initially which softens and melts so easily with touch. I can’t obviously comment on its effectiveness to treat/soothe nipples during breast feeding yet but hopefully will update later. Having now been using the cream on my raw nipples I feel it’s pretty effective and gentle. The scent does not cause any irritation or nipping as you may think with raw flesh. I’ve had several scabs and gardening and this has helped soothe and soften them again. The tub will last ages so it’s a really great investment I feel.Read more

Unlike traditional lanolin based balms this is much lighter and more easily absorbed into the skin and doesn’t leave much residue. I normally use this in the eveings in between cluster feeds as using lanolin at this time is too thick. It smells nice, and melts at body temperature so it Is very easy to apply and doesn’t get stuck under your nails like other creams, and doesn’t feel greasy. This hasn’t affected our feeding in any way, so no complaints from baby to report! All in all does what is says in the tin- is soothing and moisturising. I would also get a lanolin based cream for daytime use for more intense moisture and healing.Read more

Gritty texture. Smells of horrible chocolate! Like why would you flavour nipple cream with that. Pricey definitely don’t buy. Awful putting it on and you can’t feed with it onRead more

Very good product. It helped relieved the discomfort, and definitely improved the smoothness of my skin. When baby feeds and latched on my nipples, it’s not as painful as it used to be before i used this product. So highly recommended.Read more
