A contractor left our wall like this. They “fixed” the crack (it came back a month later if that). They were supposed to have painted the room but brought the wrong color. By the end of the whole house remodel process (4 months of it), we were frustrated and ready for everyone to get out of our house. So, we told them to just leave it and that we would take care of the issue. Fast forward to a year later… I found this product by accident and I am so happy that I did. It’s so easy to use and after some light sanding, followed by painting, my bedroom looks good again!

The media could not be loaded. I was completely happy with the first Erase-a-whole (with the red cap) that I recieved, but I was some what disappointed with the second one that I received (with the blue cap.) My rating would’ve been 5 stars if the company had created two different products for different wall types. For example, The product with the red cap is for semi-smooth to rough surfaces, and the product with the blue cap is for smooth surfaces. It would be an excellent product if they seperated the two formulas; which would accommodate different surface textures.Read more

I’ve always used a squeezable or scoopable nail filler in the past – it’s been great. But, we’re selling our house and decided that it’d be good for our karma if we spackle all of the holes left by our enormous art collection. There are HUNDREDS. I decided to branch out and try this product – just looking at all of the holes I’d have to squeeze my usual filler into made my hands hurt. Thinking about working with a small deodorant-like tube seemed like a faster option so, even though it’s a bit pricier, I ordered. When this putty arrived, it was all smashed against the side of the container – as though it had melted? I turned the cap upside down and twisted it up so it could reform and got to work. Using the cap as a smoother as suggested is terrible – I tried that on one hole and immediately grabbed a plastic scraper. I went through one room, twisted it into holes and then went back and smoothed with my scraper. Took me about 2 minutes to do 34 holes. AMAZING. And you can also easily twist the product back down into the tube and scrape your excess from your scraper back into it, so there’s less product loss as well! Some larger holes do need a second coat, but those are the only ones where I saw any shrinkage. I’m very happy with this product!!!! Just be sure to add a plastic scaper to your cart as well!Read more

I made about 15 drill holes in my ceiling while I was attempting to find a stud. This looked like it’d be a great solution. The concept is great, but I had the same results I would have had with normal putty. The product didn’t go on perfectly smooth to fill in the holes… I had to squish tons of product in with my finger to fill the hole and it was a little messy because I wasn’t prepared with a scraper as I would have been. So it went on lumpyish and I eventually had to go retrieve a scraper to smooth it out. It’s just normal putty in a deodorant applicator. Good concept tho and I can see it potentially being beneficial. But your still going to need to be ready to smooth it out.Read more

I’m a single mom of two, managing a full time job, the kids and sog, and always maintaining or fixing our forever home. Let’s just say when I first bought the house I couldn’t decide where to hang art work and ended up w holes everywhere on the walls. especially my multiple failed attempts in hanging a curtain rod. East to use, fast and simple and does a hell of a job!Read more

Does exactly what it says. Rather than getting spackel, waiting for it to dry, sanding it down, and tweaking as needed, this cuts the time/effort down to 1) rub over place in need of patching 2) wipe off excess. The hardest part is not accidentally getting the product on parts of the wall that don’t need it, but that’s easy to clean up, so it’s not a problem. I used this to patch holes in the wall from a former WiFi router and modem- other than the color difference from the patch to the paint, you’d never know it was patched. Great price, easy to use.Read more

I had a hole in drywall from a wall anchor that had been removed. This product did exactly what I needed it to do with a minimum of muss and fuss, and no special equipment or tools. Follow the directions, use the cap edge to smooth it out, and it’s just about perfect. I’ve since also used it to repair drywall that was damaged when an old vanity was removed, filled up the dent perfectly. I’m going to be doing some redecorating with some new pictures on my walls, and I know this will work perfectly to patch old holes. Good stuff.Read more

I used this to repair smaller and a couple larger nail holes before I moved out of my apartment to avoid being charged. Worked absolutely wonderfully! Landlord didn’t notice nor say anything, never was charged. This inexpensive product saved me probably $200. It’s easy to clean up afterward too. Just DO NOT use too much. You don’t need much at all. I recommend using a knife and smearing it on the hole.Read more
