Very Impressed with this product. I have used other products in the past, and thought that my Manitowoc was just getting old and not making FULL ICE CUBES like it did when it was new! Then I purchased this product from (Essential Values Ice Maker Cleaner) and WOW my Manitowoc ice maker is making FULL ICE CUBES again like when it was new after just one cleaning cycle… I will be buying again and keeping some on hand for my next cleanings, nothing worse then ice reduction in size. Our Kitchenaid ice maker stopped working, mostly because my husband wasn’t following protocol. The Afresh brand couldn’t get here for 5 days, so I tried Essential Values. Wow!! We ran it twice since we figured our build up was bad. My husband was very sure it was broken. It wasn’t. It is working better than ever! WE have spring water with a high lime content. Cleaning the machine has to be done every couple months. This stuff after near an hour did absolutely nothing. I might add that our water has a very high lime content its so hard we cant use it in coffee machines etc. This product may work fine for people that have normal city treated water, but for me unfortamnatly it would not brake through the scale of the lime. The company representative was very nice and offered a couple resolutions which was very kind of them. As I said it just didn’t work for my very hard spring water.Read more

It works and is much more economical than other brands. BE careful though – this is very concentrated. Make sure to dilute per the instructions. For instance the regular expensive solution for my KitchenAid is poured directly in per 16oz bottle where using this instead was only one ounce of solution along with 15oz of water. I have enough of this to last a decade!Read more

This ‘Essential Values’ Ice Machine Cleaner/Descaler works extremely well when used according to the directions included with the Cleaner and the procedure suggested by the machine manufacturer. Is is important to note that this is a concentrated product that must be mixed with water prior to use. The mix ratio must be followed closely, as the amount required for the cleaning procedure may be less than the amount shown as a proper mix. I found that the product performed very well when mixed according to the label instructions and used according to the machine maker’s instructions.Read more

Worked at cleaning the lines for my countertop ice maker. I would purchase again when I need more. FYI I used 1 ounce mixed with a qt. of water and ran the ice maker until reservoir was empty. Dumped all that ice and ran fresh water thru a couple cycles and dumped that ice.Read more

I had a problem of my icemaker running our of water in its water reservoir – kept having to add more water when I heard a sucking sound from the recirculating pump so I used this descaler product. Still the problem persisted. I research a little more online and was told to look for mineral buildup on the cutting grid’s wires. I saw that there was a buildup on my wires. I soaked the grid in CLR overnight and still had to physically remove the buildup. After that the icemaker filled with ice and the issue seemed solved. I believe that the descaler helped.Read more
