These are the greatest cameras I have used with apple HomeKit. They are super easy to use and support HKSV with the lowest delay I have seen. I have compared them to various Arlo models as well as Logitech Circle 2 cameras and prefer these by a large margin. These cameras would be all I used if they released an outdoor version at a slightly higher price point as well as iron out the 2 way audio in HomeKit. Eufy is sitting on a winner if they capitalize on it properly. Update: bought two more. They are just that good.Read more

Nowhere on Eufy’s website nor the product description is it made clear that this product does NOT integrate with the homebase2. The way the product is advertised makes it seem like these products all integrate, which is not the case. Apparently functionality for this has been coming “soon” per chat rooms, but without any updates in the past few months. The problem with the lack of integration is that your rules for homebase 2 products won’t apply to these cameras, makes them useless. Returning all Eufy products today.Read more

I was hopeful. I wasn’t extremely disappointed by the price but I am turned off. I tested the camera in several ways. I put the camera in my car and drive off with 24/7 recording enabled. Worked fine until I power cycled my car. Then it would turn back in with blue light flashing. IR continued to work. It didn’t record anything once it was restarted and couldn’t find connection. So the fact it worked fine if it connected before I left my house then stopped once it was restarted tells me it isn’t an issue with the cameras ability to record offline. It is an issue with Eufy controlling something during start to activate the device. It can’t be called a security camera if it cannot work offline!! Nest is a brick without internet or power. Why on earth would I want another offline brick? 2K. I’m comparing to Reolink here. At a $40 price point, those have POE, better high quality image, remote view and…. omg…. they work OFFLINE!!!! I expected more but it does artifact a lot. Person detection? My goodness. This thing was quick and cool with person detection. They did that well. Timeline? Includes a little bubble of the person detected….. wow. Two way speaker not horrendous. Love the alert feature! Design? Modern compared to others. Simple. I enjoy it. So why 2 star? The image quality isn’t there which is one off but the other two is for an offline bricked device. They boast the ability of the camera to do AI onboard. Sweet! But is that a lie? Why would this camera REQUIRE a connection at least once to work? Most disappointing? It isn’t a security camera. It is a toy. I bought it for the sake of using for security.Read more

I had originally purchased a wyze indoor camera as the camera was highly rated. We have anelevated ceiling in our entryway and the entryway is very dark. The wyze camera sporadically identified us as we walked through the entry way testing the camera. I contacted wyze support and they could not figure out why it would not always identify us. I had sent them copies of the log. I decided to purchase the Eufy indoor camera. I discovered the resolution of the camera was two times that of wyze in addition you could use a 128gb microsd card vs 32gb with wyze. The clarity of the picture with the Eufy camera was distinctly better than the wyze camera and the camera identified us every time as we walked into our entry way.Read more

These camera have nice image quality. Setup is very simple, and the app is designed well; however these cameras almost always show as offline on the app, even though they show up as connected on my home network. Upon further research I discovered this is a common place occurrence and others encountered the same difficulties I experienced when contacting Eufy support. Supports first suggestion is testing cameras on another network, next they offer a replacement, and finally after replacement fails to remain connected they want to do a complete return. They offer no real solutions to fix the disconnecting problem and only offer scripted responses to problems. It would be very refreshing to find a company that actually stands behind their products and makes a real attempt to fix an issue with their product, especially when it is a problem that is apparently plaguing numerous users. If you actually want and need cameras to work, you must connect the cameras to smart plugs in order to be able to constantly reset them. This step is absolutely unacceptable to make the product work. I hope Eufy makes a real attempt to fix this glaring issue, but based on my experience with product support, I am not holding my breath. I highly recommend purchasing another camera because with the disconnecting problem, these cameras are garbage.Read more
