Got the very well built canopy friday… have been watching videos, reading ways I could make this work….now it’s Sunday and i finally got the top to stretch over the frame and with great force at each corner, two men were able to push/lift each corner into the full open slot. I’m exhausted and extremely disappointed. My hope is that by leaving the top on frame in the garage for a couple weeks, the top will stretch and everything will be easier, because this is by far the most durable canopy I’ve had in 30 years of art shows. This is not my first rodeo, having done 40 shows a year for the first 20 years alone with no help, I’m now a 73.year old professional woman artist. I’m using my smaller display screens. I got the 5×5 to scale down the work, to make it more manageable for a solo woman, and was sincerely hoping this canopy would make my life easier. The top simply is far too snug. Will it stretch, or will it shrink? Also, if anyone has any suggestions to help me out, I really WANT this to be a 5 plus star review. I don’t want to give up on it and have another show in 3 weeks. Update…..am waiting to see if the canopy top will stretch in place on extended top. Eurmax responded nearly immediately to help me resolve the issue, and is sending ‘hopefully’ a top that will not be so snug to enable full extension more easily. It is coming next week. Eurmax deserves the upgraded 5 stars for their customer support. Nearly unheard of in these modern days….just amazing and much appreciated. I do so love the canopy, but I need to be able to set it up each weekend at markets, with much less effort and time and strength…. The replaced canopy arrived just now, I excitedly put it on the frame, and engineered a longer stick to support each corner as I pulled down on the top and got each corner to lock into place. This canopy must be just a tad bigger so as to work. But I am a 73 year old woman, and actually managed it alone. I must thank the company for their understanding and help in this resolution. Their support and their wonderful products are just fantastic. Thanks ever so much!Read more

Fit like the original and much less expensive! We ordered the burgundy which is really pretty and a nice change from the original cover. My only complaint is that the small top piece doesn’t have velcro around the mesh that you connect to the larger top (like the original) but instead has ties on both pieces that you are supposed to tie together.Read more

Ordered this canopy top when I saw that it would fit my 12×10 Allen & Roth Gazebo. Got 99% of it all up within 15 mins of me doing it by myself. Only trouble I’m having is getting that last corner hooked onto the bar. Being older, I just might not have the full strength needed to pull it so it latches on. Using all mine and my husbands strength, we still need to get it about an inch more to latch onto the end of the metal bar. My knuckles are bruised and bloodied so I had to call it a day and wait until this weekend when my younger kids come to visit. Right now I have the one corner zip tied so the winds won’t flap it around. I’m hoping that this top might last a little longer than the 2 yrs my other tops have lasted. With the main canopy being SO tight, it surprised me that the very top little canopy isn’t as tight. I’m hoping that it doesn’t pop off the main bars in stronger winds. The small screening on it doesn’t have the velcro strips that would normally hold the screen in place. Instead it has cheap little strips of screening, one strip attached onto the small top canopy and a small strip attached to the big main canopy. You need to fight a little to get those two strips tied together. Not sure how well that will last without dry rotting with the hot GA sun beating on it all spring/summer/ and fall. Will just have to wait and see how things go this season.Read more

We bought this as a replacement canopy since the original was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian. It was very easy to put on the frame. It took us less than 10 minutes. We did not have any difficulty fitting it on the last corner as other reviewers have stated. It simply velcroed on to the frame, no tools necessary.Read more

So, this is the replacement for the cover of the Lowe’s gazebo. It gets a good score at least because it fits! And that is important because no one wants to go through trying to install the cover and find out it doesn’t fit. So, yes, it fits no problems. Is it waterproof? Generally, yes. Does it work as well as the original? When I think of the original cover (in mint condition) and this replacement, the water resistance is lacking. I can say this without a doubt because we have had a couple of pretty good rain storms where there have been just a couple of leaks along the seams. I’m going to treat the cover and hopefully that will take care of the issue. Now, here is the last issue. The small piece of screen between the “tower” and the “ceiling” of the gazebo is tan whereas I purchased a gray cover. So there was no coordination of the color. Obviously this is not mission critical but a bit annoying as it isn’t obvious when purchasing. No serious regrets here. The leaks are minor enough but are most definitely annoying and have to be treated to make this fully functional.Read more

Update: After two months the top portion of the cover won’t stay on one corner. It’s a if the pocket was made too short and when the lightest breeze, it pops off. I’ve tried moving it around, and putting it on in different order of which post goes first, and it still comes off. So unusable for simple water/rain protection. They material on many seams are starting to split. Where the main canopy touches each support post, the seams see starting to separate, while others are splitting. Also, after two months it’s so faded (my fault for picking red), it looks like it’s years old. This is outside all day and we do removed it during hurricanes….otherwise it’s up all year as we use it all year. Sadly it’s not really that good of a quality, and I would be careful when you order it.Read more

I have had my gazebo from Lowe’s for a long time and was disappointed when I found out Lowe’s no longer carried a replacement top. I finally managed to find this one and ordered in Rust color the spring of 2020. Being in Colorado we take the canopy down in November so snow and wind doesn’t damage the frame. The rust color was great but faded very quickly, I have never seen anything fade out this fast. It is much thinner and very flimsy compared to the original. When we started to remove it this year, it tore like paper, the top screen was already shredded, and it has completely lost any color on the outside (see pictures). When Lowe’s had a replacement, it was very durable and included curtains for around $150. The curtains for me lasted much longer than the top and don’t need to be replaced. The up side of this replacement is it is the top only and the price is not bad for what you get. Just keep in mind it will last at most two summers, it can drip along the seems in heavy rain, and it will fade out in the first month of sunshine. Since it is the only replacement I have found, I have resigned myself to replacing it every year or two, and next time I’ll get the beige one since I know the color doesn’t last. Personally I’d be happy to pay more for a more durable canopy that would last but haven’t found one yet.Read more
