I bought a couple of these (same brand, style, size) years ago and have been using them for several years. Those older pill cases worked really well so I bought two more recently to supplement my original two, which are still just fine. These new cases have been redesigned since I bought the originals. These now have a rounded shape to the bottom of the pill container that leads to tipping while you are trying to fill it. But what’s worse is that the locking mechanism has been made in such a manner that it doesn’t latch the lid closed without special attention. On my older cases all I had to do was close the lid and ensure that it snapped into place. These newer cases require me to push on the latch (not just the lid) to make sure that the lid will close properly. It’s a new design that is worse than the original. Someone should tell Ezy Dose that if something’s not broken DON’T FIX IT. I will say that a latch for the lids is an absolute necessity for me. I travel a lot and until I bought the original pill cases I would often open my shaving kit and find that my pills were scattered all over inside it. These case prevent that. I’ll have to put up with the redesigned, poorer lid latch system because I need a way to keep the pills inside the case and these are the only cases I’ve found that do that.Read more

This product is an add on item and it seems impossible to contact the seller. It is much smaller than the advertised product in purple that is 4.8″ x 1.2″ x .8″. It is not enough money to make it worth the hassle of returning the product. So buyer beware.Read more

I purchased two of these. Big mistake. Very difficult to open for me since one needs two hands to do it. Kept slipping. Probably not the best choice for an elderly person whose fingers have diminished strength and dexterity. Ended up getting 99 cent containers at Walgreens. $10 wasted as postal cost to return would reduce credit to probably $2.00. I will, however, see if there is some way I can recoup by advising Amazon of my displeasure.Read more

Size of pill box is just shy of 6 inches long, 1 inch thick, 3/4 inch deep. Too small for my needs. Finally found measurements for the other boxes (and I now own several due to purchasing several wrong sizes). I was looking for a small, compact weekly pill holder for my 2 prescriptions that are both very small pills. I have larger pill sorters for larger supplements, but wanted something small for my important prescriptions. This was the smallest one I could find and it’s a perfect size! I wasn’t looking for the locking mechanism specifically, but I really like it! I can feel confident that the pill sorter won’t accidentally open if I throw it in my bag. Great for travel and daily life. Picture shows size, it fits in my hand, and is much smaller than my large supplement holder. Update: I liked this so much I ordered 3 more so I can sort 4 weeks of pills at a time. They are all in perfect condition and I got all three colors which is perfect!Read more

… but you’re holding both keys. It is the best locking design I have seen. Push the spring-loaded tab on the end to release the hook, then thumb the day’s cover open. For the first few weeks you might want to stand it on end to carefully open the “Sunday” compartment. The secondary snap mechanism has close tolerances, so a thumbnail or knife blade makes it easier until the plastic wears a bit. If you forget to push the release and just rip the box open you will destroy the hook. The container is built just like the non-locking devices, with a snappy thing that holds the compartment closed–you’ll lose the lock feature going at it with a gorilla style. Still, it keeps the contents inside, but you can’t drop it from an airplane any more. My wife always wants the locking version with the push tabs on each AM/PM compartment. If it just sits on a shelf, they are OK, but it does not take much force to release the cover–like picking it up from one side. Then its re-sorting a few days of pills again. I hae also found that falling from a table is enough to unlatch some compartments. Just give me my secure little pill planners! I do wish they would publish the length dimensions, though. There are several sizes that are hardly described by “medium” and “small.” Again, after another order, I still evaluate this contraption the same. It will not open accidentally unless it’s integrity is compromised. Do not force the top open without holding the white tab on the Sunday end in. You will break it, leaving you with a plain ol’ single snap latch.Read more

This pill holder holds pills. Pretty cool if you need to take pills on a regular basis but if you don’t then it’s kind of pointless. I’ve used it for a month and it hasn’t caught fire, exploded, transformed into a deadly Ethiopian Giraffe Spider, or raised any of my deceased loved ones from the dead as ravenous zombies. So I’d say it’s pretty good all in all.Read more

I purchased this for two large multivitamins and two small vitamins. If you have more than a couple large pills, this would not be suitable for you. I really like the green colour, the quality, value for money, locking feature, and size for my purse. I would definitely recommend this product if you wanted to carry a couple vitamins or other pills in your purse.
