I was under the impression, incorrectly, that it had some benzoyl peroxide but it’s basically Cetaphil down to the ingredients except you’re paying $7 for a 6oz bottle when you can pay $10 and get a 16oz bottle of Cetaphil. I used it and realized the scent was so familiar and dug out the Cetaphil bottle I just threw away to compare the ingredients. The ingredients are exactly the same down to the order EXCEPT the last 4 (out of 14), where the ingredients are the same but in different order. DO NOT BUY!Read more

So, maybe it’s just me because Im well-lifted from blowing some great CBD or my senses are failing me. I washed my face with this cleanser and it felt great the ingredients are clean, it did soothe my skin and smelled familiar. Overall, it’s an well-rounded cleanser BUT…….it smells like “Cetaphil”, looks like “Cetaphil” and feels just like “Cetaphil”. Hold up wait, there’s more!……. It even has the SAME ingredients as the “Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser”!!!!!!! Given that both products are manufactured from the same laboratory (Galderma). People are probably paying twice for the same product/ingredients and unaware of these shenanigan’s. BUT…..atleast it’s sold at half the price of “Cetaphil”, for that……I have no complaints. I’ll keep buying it! Lol!Read more

There would be often times when my family would ask are you taking care of your face? I’ve used Differin Gentle Cleanser for years in combination with the Differin Gel for lifelong mild acne (I’m a 56 y/o woman) and am generally very happy, although the Gentle Cleanser does have a tendency to leave my face feeling tight and dry immediately after washing. So I decided to try something different in the same product line and I gave the Refreshing Cleanser a shot. Right off the bat I should have been wary as the last ingredient listed was “Masking Fragrance”. I’m not sure what they’re masking but it must have been bad because the fragrance isn’t much better. Also, my face feels even tighter and drier than with the Gentle Cleanser, and after using it just a few times, I’m now breaking out! Nothing else in my regime has changed so I’m sure it’s the new cleanser. Really unhappy with this product and definitely returning it and going back to the Gentle Cleanser.Read more

I have adult acne/Hormonal acne for the past few years since I turned 40. Differin has been a confidence changer. I have tried almost everything out their prescribed and over the counter. Differin has been the only one to really help clear my skin. It is a lil drying but isn’t as bad as most acne treatments. I use a really good moisturizer to help with that. The only product from the differin line I didn’t really care for was their moisturizer. It felt greasy not thick but thin. It has sunscreen in it and it felt like a sunscreen(not my fav). Any how, if you’ve tried everything or are just starting to do research definitely try Differin. It’s affordable and it works.Read more

My sensitive skin enjoys this cleanser. No bad scent. It washes off all my skin care off because when I use the Differin toner next, no makeup is on my cotton rounds. Great product. Will buy again. Update- oh my, other reviews are correct. I had stated it had no bad scent but after using it 2 more X, I recognized the smell. Yes, it’s Cetaphil. It’s a medicinal scent compared to my other brands. I’ve only used this 3x total because I use 2 other brands in different days. For having a small medicinal smell, it sure does cleanse your face well though. I will still use this considering the scent.Read more

Since it’s soap free it doesn’t remove all the natural moisture in your skin but it does remove all the pore clogging dirt and oil leaving me feeling refreshed!Read more
