We had the best cat. Never woke anyone up for breakfast, never pushed things off countertops, never went outside the box. Well, he still never goes outside the box. But he wakes me up every morning at 6am for these things. He’ll tear the kitchen inside out to get to them and pushes the whole tin out of the pantry to try to get it open. If you have a nice storage spot – maybe an airtight vault or in-ground safe – you might be able to keep them safe there. I’ll add that he somehow got the vet on his side — she says these are good for him and we shouldn’t worry about feeding them to him (his weight is perfect and always has been). So I’m not sure how I feel about them, but Ozzy gives two paws up.Read more

If you want to have your cat pull you to the location of these things daily then get them. The best part of this other than the ritualistic needs of your cat is that after getting these the $1200 cat brushing process that our vet said we needed was strangely gone…although they seem rather miffed that we didn’t give them the $1200 and some random stranger apparently to get this done. So if your vet tells you that you need to pay the booku bucks to brush your cat’s teeth run these for a month or two…however realize that you can never stop. Your cat will haunt your dreams at night if you stop getting these.Read more

I saw these in the store one day and I grabbed a bag for my cats to try out. I felt like a guilty cat mom cause I never buy treats for them, and the dog always gets treats. Wow did my cats go crazy for them! They went through the bag within 2 days. So I came to Amazon and found this bigger size for a few more dollars than the bag at the store, but I thought it was worth it since they love them so much. I give them to them each night when we head into the bedroom for the night and they KNOW. they start meowing as soon as I start heading towards the bedroom. I’ve been faithfully feeding my 9 year old kitty these since she was a kitten, and her vet says her teeth look great and that she doesn’t even need a teeth cleaning yet. No tooth decay and her breath smells great. I give her 6 with breakfast and another 6 with dinner. I am lucky that she actually chews them and therefore gets the cleaning benefit, so you might want to start with a smaller bag to see if your kitty will chew them or just swallow them whole. I got these for my adopted abandoned/feral cat, based on multiple recommendations from some folks who have been using them for their cats, and my cat not only loves crunching on them as treats, they’re helping to keep her teeth clean, and hopefully avoid expensive veterinary visits for cleanings. Although my cat is ‘immune’ to catnip, as some cats are, she still loves the flavor. She had some tartar issues on her molars, and her breath was less-than-desirable, but within a week’s use the odor is gone, and when I snuck a photo during a big wide yawn, I could see that her gumline was cleaned up. The portion in the bag is sizable, and probably perfect so they don’t go stale before they run out. I’m happy giving her these treats, and hearing the audible “crrrunch” as she enjoys them. My cat loves these but I can never find a big container like this in stores. For freshness I gave 4 stars because when I got it the container looked a bit …eh like it’d been in a warm environment a bit longer than it should have but not long enough that’s it’s gone bad. Presentation I’d give 4 stars for size because I won’t have to buy more for a while but deducted 2 extra stars because it’s a plastic container and I’d prefer something better for the environment. Scent I gave 3 stars because well, I’m not a cat and I don’t think it smells good; but my cat does and that’s what counts.Read more

So last night I gave my two cats Catnip Greenies one treat each for the first time. Around 2AM I was awoken by both of them meowing at my bedroom door, both of which seemed severely constipated. Over the course of the next hour, I had watched one of my cats throw up four times while the other defecated about the size of a hot dog. The vet says she can tell the difference in the healthiness of the cats’ gums after using these for a few months. This product is expensive, but it makes their breath tolerable, and they could save you an expensive tooth extraction down the line unless you are manually brushing their teeth like clockwork. Arrived from the USA much quicker than expected. This is the most amazing cat treat ever, it is a pity that it is not freely available in the UK. Cats go mad for these little treats. It is expensive but absolutely worth every penny. This particular tub is quite large, my guesstimate is that it should easily last up to 4-6 months if using 5 to 6 treats a day. I am using it to condition the cat to get used to human contact. I can already notice an improvement. She now allows me to pick her up, she knows that she will be rewarded with a few Greenies; she is very much aware that the reward is worth it!!Read more

We have to hide the treats or he will spend his day trying to “break in” and gobble them all up. I do not have a picture of him eating the treats but I do have a picture of him dreaming of treats 🙂 When we get these in a bag we have to lock it in the pantry as he will drag it out and rip it open. Our cats will at least keep eating the “catnip” flavoured Greenies, as treats. I find the chicken and other flavoured Greenies that our cats don’t enjoy these and will eventually just leave these. So it is “catnip” Greenies for our cats. Note: Our vet suggest to limit the amount of Greenies dental treats, if your cat is over weight.Read more
