When I was ordering this, I was pretty unclear how big it would seem, so I included a picture of the thing with my hand in it for scale. Summed up, bug zapper seems to work, and is unobtrusive in my kitchen. If you’re thinking that the bear is removable, it is not – that’s where you store the stuff that attracts the bugs. My kids think the bear is cute though. If you intend to have this constantly running, there’s a very faint whirring sound that it produces, but it’s totally tolerable and not annoying. Since getting this, the number of fruit flies we deal with seems to have been reduced, so I’d call it a success! That said, nothing is a silver bullet, and fruit flies still do show up in my house from time to time — however, the area this is in has way fewer then there was before, so it works as advertised, as best as I can discern!Read more
Had to return this item. It’s awfully cute but pointless to have since it doesn’t catch anything. It comes with a cute little container of cane sugar that is suppose to attract the gnats etc but says you have to run it for more than 24 hrs and avoid from opening it in case the gnats escape. There is No sticky plate involved so if you catch a gnat you hope the little fan running holds it in place long enough where the gnat dies on its own. The fan is not strong by the way. Child’s play.Read more

This bug trapper works wonders. I turn it on in a dark room and it attracts any mosquitos that may be hiding in the room. So nice to be able to go to sleep and not worry about getting bit over night by a mosquito that is lurking around. Has a nice purple light and looks pretty cool as well. Also has a strap on the top so you can hang it if that is your preference. Its very easy to setup – just plug it in and attach the bait to the little teddy bear and that is it! Great purchase.Read more
This fly killer is a cute design and I wanted something that would not be a hazard for my cat’s abode in the garage. I placed it near his feeding station as that’s where the flies are at, but no flies have been captured…just tiny, tiny flying insects.Read more

The device itself is very cute and the light and slight hum of the fan is actually relaxing. I thought the fan wasn’t strong enough at first, but it caught a fly the first time I used it. Could attract the bugs better, but then maybe there would be an odor.Read more
The fan of this thing was so weak that if it wasn’t for the slight noise it makes, you would think it wasn’t on. It also seemed to blow outward not inward. Strange. Needless to say, it didn’t catch a thing.Read more
I had both a fruit fly problem and 1 single mosquito buzzing around. I work from home during the pandemic, so it was really annoying. The device took 2 days but the human scent bait got the 1 mosquito and the fruit fly problem is now under control. I would wait and see if it can catch them all, but so far so good. Would recommend this product. Thank you!Read more

I looked to see if it needed a refill (which it does). But no mention of it or mention of operation in sales description. Work best case would of been helpful at time of purchase. No mention of it competing with human scent while in room and refill issue makes this unusable for me! Misleading productRead more
