   Got this to use at my daughter’s birthday party. I have tried it and its eady to use and the led lights give it a cool affect to the fog. I like that it has a remote that controls the smoke and the lights. Its light weight. it has 13 colors and it’s made out of good strong metal. it’s going to be great and fun for the party.    This is my first fog machine and I’m impressed by the amount of fog it puts out. It seems solid and well constructed and LED lights provide a cool effect through the fog. While it’s somewhat noisy when the fan is running, you don’t really notice it from a distance and would be easy to drown out with music. The IR receiver for the remote is a small box that plugs into the back – make sure you don’t lose either that or the remote control or the only option will be to run in automatic mode. Unfortunately the controls are a little weird and it’s not easy to put out a single blast of fog on demand. Operation There are two switches at the back of the unit, one for power and one that sets it in automatic mode. It takes about 4 minutes to warm up after being powered on. If not in automatic mode, you may need to push the power button on the remote to start it up. Most of the buttons on remote correspond to the lights (but the strobe and flash modes don’t seem to work). The manual references a non-existent “Lock” button on the remote to start the fog, but my remote has an only ON & OFF buttons. If the machine is ready, ON puts it in automatic mode and it will immediately create a large blast of fog and the OFF button won’t stop it until it’s completed that cycle. If you haven’t clicked OFF after the initial blast, be prepared for another big blast of fog in a 2 -3 minutes. Other thoughts In any fog machine, the amount and density of the fog will depend on the fog juice you use (don’t skimp here); I used Freezin Fog from Froggy’s (available on Amazon) and it really cranks out a high volume of dense fog (see video). I plan to experiment with a DIY fog chiller to create ground for Halloween. I wish this included a simple button either on the unit on remote for a single blast of fog. Like most machines in this price range, it takes a few minutes to warm up and requires at least a couple minutes before it’s ready to create more fog.Read more

   This is a powerful fog machine that releases fog like a fire extinguisher. It runs for roughly 35 seconds and pauses for a full minute before releasing more. I filled a 500 square ft room in 3 minutes. Instructions are not great. It doesn’t show you how to install the carrying handle. There is no timer and there is no continuous pumping. If you are looking to use it outdoors or a high traffic haunted house where sustained or timed release is needed, look elsewhere. A completely full tube with 6 ounces of liquid lasts about 20 sprays, or 30 minutes. I put on 15 percent glycerin and 85 percent filtered water without further mixing and it dripped all over the floor. Make sure the solution is completely mixed to avoid this problem. It costs just $10 to mix your own with an 8 oz bottle of vegetable glycerin and water. Don’t buy commercial stuff that may be toxic.Read more

   This is a great little fog machine. It was easy to set up, put out a good amount of fog, and the lights are nice and bright. It doesn’t put out continuous fog, most small machines don’t though – you’ve gotta pay the big bucks for that. It’s small, so you can fit in lots of places. My only complaint is that we couldn’t really figure out how to get the remote to work with the fog machine. We tried it with the Auto switch on and with the auto switch off, neither seemed to make a difference. It just put on the fog in its timed program. But, it was good timing, so that was fine. And the remote did work well for the lights. Overall, I would recommend this fog machine.Read more

   Note that “fog juice” is not included, and must be purchased separately. This rather small fog machine offers not only fog but also offers colors, which is cool. Not only colors, but there are some “light effects” as well. This fog machine has a small remote which gives you all of the control. You’ll certainly want to make sure you do not lose it. Without it, you’ll be able to do very little with the machine. This fog machine is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon.Read more
