If you have cats that squat and pee into the litter then this box would work great BUT if you have cats like mine who tends to stand and pee onto the wall of the box then this box is not for you. I loved the design (at first), it is easy to clean but then I realized because of how my cats pee, not all of the pee slides into litter. Instead it slides down the lip of the lid onto the floor…..which is so gross. I now have waterproof mats under the boxes and without fail everyday there will have a puddle of pee under the lid in the back. This causes more of a mess so now I am on the hunt for different boxes. Save yourself the money and buy a different litter box.Read more

I almost never write reviews but i’m very disappointed today. Package looked roughed up but overall ok. When i took the litter box out it looked fine, until i tried to put it together. The material is cheap plastic. Multiple little pieces were broken & fell out of the plastic bag it came in. Because of this the walls & top could not be connected together. This box is what you looking for as a cat litter box. This is accurate and almost nice looking box. But this is madden not from high quality plastic, because mine came with small broken bracket piece. However, the box just works fine for our kitten. One thing funny is that our kitten plays with transparent door and can’t go through, so it goes through the box top. But all urine and litter stays inside, which is easy to clean. My only negative about this is the draw to too difficult to remove to easily scoop through the tray. Other than that, I love it! It’s super sturdy, my cat likes it. I left the one way door off of it because she was super hesitant about it as a kitten. I’m actually considering buy a second one. The drawer being difficult to slide out is not that much of a problem for me because I only have one cat so I don’t need to clean the box too often and I can just scoop through 2 openings to clean it. It was super easy to set up, it has very specific directions. I’m not completely certain I did it exactly right but it works great, is super sturdy. I can even stand on it to reach for shelves over it.Read more

Had to remove door as she refused entry. Top exit is in front when pix show it to the rear. Needed new litter box because she started peeling around the house. Now she still ignores old litter box, but has stopped peeling around the house and only uses this litter box.Read more

If you are picking up the shelter kittens same day as litter box arrives, there is not much you can do if there is something you don’t like, can’t return it after kitty litter and use of box of course. There is a wall around the perimeter of the littlerbox that has to be assembled and it is not as easy as one would think from the directions, and so the walls kept slipping out of place and collapsing enough times that two of the cheap little plastic nubs that are supposed to connect between the walls quickly broke off without any force used. I had to use it as is and luckily the walls stayed up nevertheless. The litter tray does not slide out easily and even though it looks like the floor would be protected from overflow, there was still kitty litter that had gotten underneath the tray onto the floor when the cats dug into the litter. After you pull out the tray, then you no longer have the protection of the walls at all while scooping out what the cats left in the box because the wall of the tray itself is low, causing litter to fall out while scooping. So while the concept is good, it just doesn’t work like it should, and the $60 I paid I may as well have used on other needs. Definitely would not buy again.Read more

Like many other people on here, I received the box and one of the plastic corners was broken off. I assembled it anyway and it seems to stay in place despite the broken corner. The design is weird. I should have read the description better but the one way door is bizarre. The cat walks in then can’t get out the same way he walked in. He is required to climb out the top like some escape artist in a magic show. It’s a lot of work just to take a pee. I removed the one-way door and just left it an open hole so the cat wouldn’t have to do gymnastics to get out of the bathroom. I can imagine climbing out the top would be tough on an older cat.Read more
