I purchased several different products and will share my feedback of each here, for those who are comparison shopping. I have always been a pet owner, but recently adopted a terrier. White hair, short, wiry, sticks to EVERYTHING. I have never had as much trouble with pet hair as I do now. I needed major help removing the hair from my leather couch, my bedding, and my clothes. Sweepa Duo Rubber Brush: this worked best on my couch. It was a bit labor intensive, for me at least, because the pet hair had become embedded in the leather. We have a large sectional, so by the time I had wiped the sides, backs, and seats of the couch, I was winded and about 30 min had passed. I had tried a bunch of other products prior to this, and even the at-home latex glove trick, to no avail. While hairs were still present on the couch, this tool provided the most relief. Fur Zapper 2-pack pet hair remover: I wanted to love this, but it just didn’t work for me. I see no less hair on clothes now than I did before I purchased these. I also followed the suggestion to run dirty clothes in the dryer for a few minutes to “loosen” the pet hair prior to washing. I did find some pet hair in the lint trap after this, but not enough to take this extra step in my opinion. Delomo Pet Grooming Glove: Our dogs actually really enjoyed being groomed with this glove, and we got an enormous amount of hair off the two of them. It felt great to see it come off on the glove instead of floating around my house, so this product is a keeper! Gonzo Pet Hair Lifter sponge: this worked best on my clothes. The terrier’s hair has a way to get embedded in material, making it so hard to get out. My sticky tape rolls would only go so far. I would leave the house about 75% hair-free. This sponge really did get up a lot of hair that was “stuck” in sweaters. I did notice that after a few swipes, the hair that had been removed by the sponge would get transferred to the sweater again. I had a hard time getting the hair off the sponge, until I tried this…after a few passes with the sponge, I would take my sticky tape roller and run it all over the sponge to pick up the hair on it, then go back to my sweater with the sponge, and repeat. I have yet to find a product that works effectively across multiple surfaces. If anyone has a suggestion, please share! But I am pleased with the rubber brush for my couch, the glove for pet grooming, and the pet hair lifter for clothes. I would not purchase the fur zapper again.Read more

I bought the 2 pack of the Furzapper. I have been using them about a month. I have a VERY furry BIG dog, 140 lbs worth of furry. He has a fuzzy undercoat that is incredible but it does get everywhere when it is time for him to blow his coat in the springtime. I use both of the FurZappers in the load. I put them in the washer and the dryer. For those loads with a lot of fuzz on them, I put the load in the dryer with the FurZappers before I wash to remove some of the excess. Then I wash the load with both FurZappers and then put them in the dryer. I also add a 1/4 cup of vinegar to the rinse water on loads with a lot of hair to remove. You have to clean them every few loads to keep them working but it is no big deal just wash them off with a little dishwashing liquid and pull off any hair still on tem and throw them in the wash with the next load. It beats trying to use a lint brush on your laundry before you wash. .Read more

I was very disappointed in this product. I am an owner of 7 dogs, 2 being German Shepherds (1 long hair, 1 short), so I though this would be an awesome product to help with maintaining hair around the house. WRONG. Like you, I read through the comments…many of which people warned the product didn’t personally work for them. However, I decided to take the risk and I’m disappointing I did. I tried the fur zapper in both the washer and dryer, neither worked. Personally, I’m not one for leaving reviews unless a product I purchase is magnificent or plain awful. Sadly, this is an awful purchase. Save your money!!Read more

I hesitated to purchase this product based on previous reviews. I even went as far as to purchase the cell sticky pads as suggested in another review. Though similar, the products are NOT the same; the FurZapper doesn’t stick to the drum and actually worked for me (the cell sticky pads did not, but I used them for other things); it removed 95% of fur off my dogs’ bedding. I don’t know how the product works as no hair was actually on the FurZapper, but I have 3 short haired dogs & was tired of their hair clogging my washer and/or leaving hair behind in the dryer only to get on the next load of laundry. I wonder if the product worked b/c of the type of dog fur as it worked for some and not for others, or that I have a Samsung front-end loader and in San Diego, our water is hard? But I am glad I took the chance and purchased this item after all. I recommend this item!Read more

Works like a charm. I don’t know how but it does. It’s gross to rinse off but definitely worth it. We have four cats, and our clothes have much less hair on them. We look normal again instead of the crazy cat people we really are.Read more

I bought the fur zapper a couple weeks ago as I have two giant Newfoundlands. Surprisingly our pet hair problem isn’t the worst despite having two fluff balls for dogs, but I still hate the fur on my black clothes and I carry a lint roller religiously. Well, I’ve finally gone out without it! I put two in the wash, then transfer them over to the dryer along with three whool balls and I can tell you without question the combo is better than anything else I’ve ever tried. My clothes are fur free and you can reuse the fur zapper a few times before you need to clean it, which is very easy. It not only helps with pet hair, I’ve noticed those annoying tiny white balls on all of my black leggings disappear as well.Read more

I have two German Shepherds so controlling the fur is a never ending battle. I purchased these because they can be reused and claim to help release fur from clothes in the washer and then grab remaing fur in the drier. I am really happy to report that they live up to their claim. All of my dark clothes are coming out of the drier practically fur-free. I use both disks at the same time and hand wash them with dish soap to remove the fur and make them sticky again. I’m going to give these to my friends who are also struggling with dog fur. Great product!Read more

I bought this after someone a friend that lives in the States and has 2 cats and 1 dog, swore by this product. I gave it a go and I am happy with it although I have only used it once and I used it on the tumble dryer only. I saw a lot of reviews of people saying it doesn’t work – it does work BUT you CANNOT USE fabric softener with this, which I think it’s where a lot of people are failing. The material is like a piece of sticky wobbly jelly which I assume is why fabric softener won’t work with these as the fabric softener creates a sort of soft topcoat in our clothes which makes the sticky material ineffective. We have 4 pets – 3 cats and 1 dog and even though I’m always vacuuming the house, there’s always some pet hair that goes in our clothes which is something I absolutely detest. The tumble dryer helps a lot to keep our clothes pet hair free but in the Summer because I leave them on the line outside, I’m hoping that by not using fabric softener this will help in the washing machine. I will post more reviews after a few washes. For now 3 stars until I get to experiment a bit more and see how it works best.Read more

Finally used these. I followed everyone’s suggestions about not putting fabric softener in the washer or dryer sheets in the dryer. When I pulled them out, I was a little grossed out with how much hair and lint they actually collected. Think I may get another set so that I can place 2 in each load of laundry I do in the future. I have long hair myself, we have a longer haired cat and a fluffy Pomeranian. Definitely helps.Read more

Ok so I get this product just on time when I have to do laundry. Let’s see product itself was sticky which is normal and it looks amazing. Now having a cat and fur balls all over I was so excited. The product worked but not as I expected. It did not function as good as I wanted it too. I actually thought it would be much better considering all the hype it got. NOTE :DO YOUR SEATCH FOR I ALSO FOUND IT AT 1/3 OF THE PRICE AT A PET STORE AND I WAS FURIOUS BECAUSE IT COST A PRETTY PENNY HERE ESP WITH SHIPPING
