Of all the screwball nozzles that the morons in DC have mandated, this is the least offensive I’ve found. Those %$^^& who legislated such things obviously never stoop to actually using them. That’s for peons. in any event… the push-button is a bit hard to push. No other criticisms.Read more

Great little 1 gallon gas can. Other reviews complained about the red push button on the nozzle which is designed to push in first to clear the little tab and then push down to open the the nozzle to allow fuel to pour out. I took some diagonal pliers to cut off the tab and then a utility knife to clear whatever shavings were left. Now when I need to pour fuel all I have to do is push down on the button. By the way, to save some of you that may try, it’s impossible to cut that tab off with just a utility knife it’s too thick. I even tried heating the plastic up with a lighter to soften up that plastic tab but didn’t want to melt too much of the other parts around it, anyway the diagonal side cutter pliers made it very very easy. It may also help to know that the black handle/nozzle is made for you to grab that when pouring fuel, instead of the red handle of the gas can itself.Read more

Bought this to replace an old cam I had for my chainsaw. The nozzle works perfectly. Others have noted difficulty in releasing the safety to press the dispensing button. I had no problem with this once I read the directions literally right below the button. If you push the side of the button first to release the safety catch then roll your thumb to the top of the bottom, it will easily push down. No problem.Read more

I know it’s only a gas can, and I don’t review all the products I get… But this one deserves 8 stars! Extremely safe and easy to use. Pours and stops precisely and with great control. I wish it had a “clear” section and a “gallon mark,” but other than that, it is awesome.Read more

I tried several big-box local hardware store brands that leaked and fell apart and never poured without leaking. This is one is has a lighting arrestor and seals tightly. If I had to put any negatives, it would be that it pours a little on the slow side. I was worth the 5 star rating for the pouring but after it let the gas escape, I am giving it one star and a visit to the trash. Edit a month later – I used it once and when I went to use it again, the can imploded on itself while it sat. It was stored after I used about 1/4 of a gallon. It was full. But when I opened the shed today, I smelled a strong odor of gasoline. Look at this picture.Read more

Amazing gas can!! It’s light even though it’s thick and durable plastic, and the safety valve is wonderful. My six year old son can’t press the valve down, which is excellent because he needs my help to put gas into the lawnmower.Read more

First I’d like to point out that this is NOT a Briggs & Stratton product (like advertised), but the vendor claims the product is “endorsed” by B&S – so some truth in advertising is a bit “off” here Review update – after about a year of light usage fuel started to leak from the top valve (where you need to press the red button while filling the snow blower (or lawnmower). I would not recommend this product.Read more

The design of this isn’t really practical. You can’t hold the Jerry can and push the button with the same hand. Does help with filling small tanks but could be better.Read more

Overall, so far so good. Spout easy enough to operate once you know how. Be aware though, these are in US gallons so tiny by Canadian standards. (3.7 liter not 5 liter).Read more
