Although quality level is impressive the brightness level is severely lacking in one of the 2 units. Not cool! UPDATE/10/31/2020 when I wrote my first review I was not all that disappointed and I was willing to let everything go but since then I received a gracious letter and also two new lights from the Product service manager Chuck. I did not ask for a replacement product because I was satisfied and willing to overlook the brightness level in one of the flashlights because they were of quality made. I just want to say I thought it was very generous for you to send me some new flashlights that was a class act and I will be ordering more of your product for the holiday season to distribute to my family of 10 brothers and sisters. Likes: ☻ the LED is very bright and operates on three settings: high, low, and strobe ☻ the overall design is nice and the body is made of aluminum ☻ the anti-roll design is a handy feature ☻ zooming from a wide area to a focused beam is easy with the twist design ☻ the lanyard makes hanging or wrapping around the wrist available options ☻ it’s rugged design, construction, and rubber O-Ring allows for weather, water, and shock resistance ☻ it’s simple to operate by pressing down firmly on the tail cap power button to turn on and off ☻ running through the three light modes is easily accomplished by pressing gently (half press) on the tail cap power button ☻ the lightweight pocket-size makes carrying easy and comfortable ☻ there are two battery options; 3-AAA, or a rechargeable 18650 Lithium-ion ☻ two flashlights come in the box ☻ the price Wish list: ☹ USB charging ability This is a very bright flashlight which is easy to operate and comfortable to carry. It is nice that there is choice of using two different types of battery; one having a recharging option. Having the ability to charge this flashlight via USB would be an added plus, but not having this functionality is not a major issue, given the price point and since we get two in the box. GearLight LED Flashlights S1050 [2 PACK] I was skeptical of all the positive reviews, but for $10, I figured I’d see what all the fuss was about. Plus, I wanted a compact light I could easily fit in my pocket, with decent brightness, of course. These lights feel very well made, and are bright. Even on the low setting, it puts out a decent amount of light. And casts a beam a very long ways. I am using these lights with brand new Duracell Optimum AAA Batteries, but you can also use an 18650 battery, if you wish. I can’t say for sure, because I do not have an 1865 battery, but, these lights may be even brighter using one of those. I do like having the option of being able to use 2 different battery types, and plan to use an 1865 battery in the future. The red power button on the rear of these flashlights, is firm, and responsive. Doesn’t feel flimsy at all. There is also a a wrist strap attached to the rear of the light, if you wish to use it. You can take it off also. I do wish these lights came with holsters, but considering their low price, I can’t complain.
