This kit has sooo many different types of beads and different types of jewelry to make, head bands, bracelets, rings. I wanna say I love the product, I wanna say my 4 year old loves it but in truth it was a total bust. The clip on nipple system that they use is sooo tight that I often can’t get them to snap together. Just taking the time to make a necklace has my fingers sore from having to push so hard. Safety issue with the drawstring back pack. The beads are fine a little hard to push together and pull apart but the backpack full of beads is a Safety hazard. We purchased the Gili Pop Beads, Jewelry Making Kit on a lightening deal. Gave it to my daughter for Christmas. I didn’t know the kit came with a drawstring backpack. She quickly put all the beads in there and left the caboodle empty. Just a few hours ago, she came in slowly to me her entire face beet red with the full backpack tightly around her neck multiple times. I thought I was going to have to cut it off. It was wrapped many times very tightly. She’s ok but we’re very lucky she didn’t pass out from cutting off the circulation or falling down the stairs when coming to get me. She has marks and bruises all around her neck and some bloody spots. This was very scary and I suggest removing the backpack from the kit. I don’t even want to think about what could’ve happened if she didn’t get to me in time.Read more

My 5 year old granddaughter loves jewelry and dressing up. I purchased this for her because she also enjoys arts and craft toys; making things. She uses this toy over and over and likes making necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets. She even wears them! Our four year old loves to watch me make rosaries, so I decided to get her this jewelry making kit to create her own jewelry (instead of her running off with my beads). She LOVES it! This gets played with a few times a day. Yay! Well, I won’t lie… It’s a “yay!” until you have to pick them all up at least twice a day… and not all pieces hurt like the dickens when you step in them, unlike the popular “building blocks”. So that’s a bonus, eh? Some of the pieces are difficult for her AND us, to snap together. Not all pieces snap into each other, which we both find to be highly annoying and ruins the pieces we envisioned. Some of the pieces are small- I misjudged the size when I ordered it. Oops. Bought this set for my 5 year old granddaughter. They are pop beads so they require very little assistance from an adult. There are several bands for bracelets, necklaces and rings to put the beads on. The beads are in a nice case that has organizers inside and a drawstring bag to put the case in. I thought this was a great feature just incase the case didn’t get closed all the way. Granddaughters have not received this as it is a Christmas present. However, I think they will enjoy making all sorts of items. Seems sturdy, definitely colorful and a lot of variety and shapes. As mentioned, reminds me of Pop Beads from many years ago. No wires, strings, cords or clasps. Only drawback, the beads are small so not for any young child. I think the activity associated with making an item with these beads needs to be controlled to avoid having beads being lost. Otherwise, I like the product.Read more
