I was expecting this thing to be flimsy, but last night a chupacabra broke into my house and got between me and my gun so I reached for the first thing I could find… my trusty Gleam Guitar Stand. I pounded the chupacabra into the ground until it didn’t move. I walked away to gather my thoughts and come up with a plan to dispose of the carcass, but when I came back it was gone. I guess you can’t kill a chupacabra with it. Oh, it also holds guitars pretty good.Read more

The media could not be loaded. I have written several honest reviews on items. This is the worst product I have ever purchased. For the overall construction, I would give a -5. I own several Guitars and have been playing for years. I would not use this for any of my guitars. The top support that supports the neck is hinged and is very floppy. It has so much play that when you set your guitar on it, it tilts backward. The rubber strap that is supposed to hold your guitar secure, feels like it would break if you used it too many times. The base does not lock in place when you open the lags. The central connector is made out of very thin cheap-feeling plastic. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I was extremely disappointed with this item. I will be returning this item. Do not waste your money on this.Read more

It holds the guitar. Not sure what more people want it to do but the top part where the neck sits, feels a little weak but considering this will sit in a corner and I don’t use the guitar much, it will probably last for years before breaking down. Can’t beat the price. The rubber feet are really nice specially since I have hard floors. Everything else felt pretty sturdy though.Read more

I have five different guitar stands, and this one is by far the least trustworthy. The price was cheap, so I was suspicious that the quality was poor, but all the good reviews convinced me to try it. I wish I would’ve trusted my instincts and saved the money and bought a sturdier guitar stand. It’s definitely worth spending a little more money on a better stand to protect your beloved instrument. Fortunately, this one has not yet failed, but I do have my cheapest guitar sitting on it just in case.Read more

I’ve owned several guitar stands that I’ve had for decades. Recently I began having people over to jam and wanted an extra stand for my guests to use. They sure don’t make ’em like they used to. A good portion of this stand is plastic, and the part that supports the neck is cheaply attached by a flimsy hinge that “locks” in place with an undersized button. Plus the bottom support is hinged in the middle by a metal hinge that puts the heel of your guitar at risk of damage. This stand was designed for portability rather than its ability to safely support an instrument. Some of my guitars are quite expensive and there’s no way will I risk damage to them buy entrusting them to this stand.Read more

The media could not be loaded. This thing is way too flimsy and feels very cheap. It’s so lightweight that when you put a guitar in or take it out, the stand wobbles. Of course, I put a full size acoustic guitar in it, which it’s not made for, but I still wouldn’t really trust it with any guitar. The bars sticking out to hold the body of the guitar don’t even lock into the stand. Video attached to illustrate my point. You should really spend more money and get something better. I’m going to return this.Read more

Maybe this is okay for a cheap/lightweight guitar, but I was surprised how terrible it was with all of the great reviews. It was easy to assemble, but the guitar ended up sitting crooked in it. It is not sturdy at all and we realized that our cats could easily knock it over if they started running around and accidentally bumped into it. Not worth the potential trouble for a custom made, expensive guitar. It wasn’t worth the effort of returning, so we’ll keep it in case we get a cheap guitar we don’t care about. Much happier with the Onstage stand (SO much sturdier and heavy duty, don’t have to worry about it tipping over).Read more

It does the job and holds up the electric guitar like it should. For the price point, it’s a good product. However, I had two minor complaints. The bi-bracket fit into the tripod, as shown in the instructional video. However, the insert from the bi-bracket made it difficult to rotate it 180 degrees and it took several frustrating tries to get it to work. Perhaps the product we got had a faulty design? I also thought that the end of the insert of the bi-bracket should have had some sort of cap, screw, or other mechanism to lock it into place and prevent it from slipping out of the tripod. Assuming you don’t move the stand, the weight of gravity will be sufficient to prevent accidental slippage of the bi-bracket from the tripod, but it still worries me a little. Additionally, one of the ends of the safety buckle fell off. It barely lasted a month and a half of daily, gentle use. It seems to be very thin, soft, and fragile. Using a glue gun might fix the problem but I wouldn’t be surprised if it falls off again. It would be great if the ends were made of a sturdier material. Overall, you get what you pay for. It does the job. If you plan on using this regularly, expect the safety buckle to break. Watch the instructional video for help on how to assemble the stand.Read more

Item arrived quickly well packaged with instructions. Stand feels a bit flimsy maybe not that stable depending on the weight distribution of your guitar. Certainly not something to put your most prized axe on. Lock feature is a rubber strap across the neck brace. But saying that it does the job.Read more

Looks great when the guitar is on it ,but the arm holding the neck of the guitar needed to be longer , I only managed to fit it into the secure nut and so causing it to be a little unsteady .Read more
