I needed a 25ft extension cord that was rated for 1500 watts. I purchased this extension cord as it’s about 1/2 as expensive as the other options here on Amazon, it’s BLACK and not ugly-orange like most other cords rated for this higher wattage load, which is great for my purposes. I’m using it inside my home to power an electric fireplace-style heater so I needed a cord that wouldn’t draw attention by it’s color and was rated with high enough wattage to be safe (versus regular indoor extension cords). This cord is very well made, the plastic extension cord coating is flexible and not real stiff like most heavy-duty cords. I’m very happy I found this GoGreen power cord.Read more

CORD LOOKED GOOD UNTIL, I FOUND A LUMP IN THE CORD ABOUT 6″ FROM FEMALE PLUG, I CUT THAT PART AWAY AND INSTALLED A NEW LEVITON PLUG. THEN I CUT OPEN THE CABLE PIECE I CUT OFF WHERE THE LUMP IS, I FOUND THAT THE GREEN WIRE AND WHITE WIRE WERE BARE AND CONNECTED (SPLICE). I THOUGHT CUTTING THAT SECTION OFF WAS IT, WRONG! THERE IS ANOTHER LUMP ABOUT HALF WAY IN THE CABLE. NOW I NEED TO TOSS THE CABLE IN THE TRASH, LOST MY PURCHASE MONEY PLUS COST OF LEVITON PLUG. DANGERIOUS CABLE EXTENSION CORD, I WOULD HAVE TAKEN PICTURES BUT I DO NOT HAVE A SMART PHONE OR CAMERA. DON’T BUY THIS CABLE, UNSAFE.Read more

I just bought a power washer but needed an extension cord to go with it. I read the instructions and they said it needed a 14 grade heavy duty power extension cord or greater. This cord seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it. Used it today for several hours and it held up extremely well. Never once did the power safety trip when using the power washer/extension cord which was what I feared would happen. It is a very durable, attractive cord which met my every expectation and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this quality cord to use with heavy equipment such as power washers. I purchased this because the color blends in well with my outdoor decor. We purchased some deck lights and wanted to connect them to an outside outlet. The orange and green extension cords I found were pretty obnoxious, but this one blends in really well and you hardly even notice it.Read more

Excellent heavy-duty extension cord at a good price. This cord is what you’d expect to find in any outdoor cord, or indoor for that matter. Well-made, heavy-duty. I read here on Amazon that some cheap Chinese cords now have a plastic ground prong covered with a thin metal coating that falls off. WOW! I’m surprised that’s even legal. I wouldn’t trust any company that builds cords without real metal prongs. Not a chance.Read more

I cannot return since I didn’t use the defective extension cord for 30 days after purchase. Lesson learned. This cord is defective and trips my GFCI outlet every time it’s used. I would not recommend at all. Going into trash. Lesson learned, test every product ASAP so you don’t get ripped off.Read more
