GoodBoy Comfortable Recovery E-Collar for Dogs and Cats – Soft Inflatable Donut Collar Designed for Protecting Small Medium or Large Pets Post Surgery or Wounds Size 1 (Pack of 1) Blue/Grey

(18 customer reviews)

Comfortable – This inflatable neck donut is a soft and lightweight alternative to a traditional e-collar cone, designed to prevent your pet from biting or licking surgery sites, injuries, rashes, or stitches. With cozy fleece for your pet’s comfort, it allows your pet to eat, drink, play, and sleep normally and doesn’t block their vision during their recovery. The soft donut fits right around your pet’s collar and can be used with dogs or cats.
Restricts biting and licking – Similar to an e-collar cone, this soft, protective collar will prevent your dog or cat from biting or licking surgery sites, rashes, stitches, or wounds during their recovery. This inflatable collar is thicker than standard inflatable recovery collars, making it harder for your cat or dog to reach surgery sites or wounds on their body. This helps your pet recover quickly while still allowing them to rest comfortably.
Adjustable fit – The soft, inflatable donut design fits to your pet’s regular collar, securing it in place. Simply insert your pet’s collar through the loops inside the inflatable neck donut and adjust the strap on the donut as needed. It is designed with a secure, quick release buckle that won’t pull your pet’s fur and an adjustable neck size, ensuring a great fit for small, medium, or large pets.
Four different sizes – See pictures 4 & 5 for the sizing information. To ensure the best fit for your pet, this inflatable recovery collar comes in four different sizes. The fit can also be adjusted with a strap, and the inflatable recovery collar stabilizes by attaching directly to your pet’s everyday collar, which makes it a great choice for small, medium, or large pets. This inflatable collar fits both cats and dogs, and it can be deflated for easy storage between uses.
Warranty covers chew damage & wrong size – In addition to what a standard warranty entails, we are going the extra mile and offering you a replacement collar If your pup manages to chew through the strap or bite a hole in the collar making it deflate. We can also replace the collar for a different size if it does not fit properly.

We had our 6 month old German shepherd spayed and were dreading the traditional cone of shame. We took this to the vet when we dropped her off and initially they didn’t know if the vet would allow it. But when we picked her up we were delighted that the vet approved the collar! We tested it on her a few days before her surgery and it didn’t slow her down, she was also able to get through our dog door with it on. The 1st night she wore it without a peep. She’s currently using it as a pillow and it’s not slowing her down at all but in a good way. She’s not attempting to get to her stitches. I really like the thoughtful details, such as the hidden zipper the washable cover and the plushness of it. Shes eating, drinking, and even able to chew her rawhide with it on. Just perfect all the way around. We purchased a size 3 for our 40 lb puppy. You need to be sure to run their collar thru the inner staps on the donut tho. (seriously it looks like a donut, they should make one with sprinkles). We also tucked the extra length of the strap under the buckle to keep it out of her way. get it!Read more

My 70 lb German wirehaired Pointer had major abdominal surgery and the plastic cone was so terrible he refused to lay down or rest. He was literally collapsing from exhaustion but the plastic cone was so uncomfortable and secluding that he wouldn’t rest. I bought this and it just arrived today, Asce immediately wagged his tail and fell asleep. Very comfortable and supportive. It allows him to actually see which eliminates the anxiety factor. 10 starsRead more

Let me start by saying the plastic cone should be outbanned. It lasted 39 seconds. Then I decided to give the dollar store water thing a whirl. This may work if you don’t have other dogs/ we do and it was to much fun to resist shedding them. We then bought the inflatable collar. It was kind of a pain to get on as it runs though your dogs collar thrn has to be blown up. I will say my other dogs didn’t pop it so the material was nice. Skip the drama we did and just buy this. We have 10 days left Daisy’s torture device gets removedRead more

This is an update to my first review. Our cockapoo puppy wore this collar for 12 days after her spay surgery. She took to the collar right away, and wore it for the whole 12 days. She was able to eat, drink, sleep & play in it, even walking up and downstairs. I washed the very soft cover afterwards, and it came out like new. I deflated the plastic tube and stored them for future use, if needed. Her neck measured 11 inches, and I believe I ordered a size 2, but it was a little big so we had to fully inflate it.. First, I looped her snap together collar, but she was able to pull both off, so I bought a buckle collar & that worked much better. Then she learned to kick the collar around her neck & stick her head out the open part, but she couldn’t reach her surgery site. Be sure to have the closed part of the collar under your dog’s chin. I saw some photos that had it on the wrong way, and they complained the collar didn’t work. We were on high alert, but we managed. I’d take it off every day or so for 10 minutes & scratch her neck & shoulders, which she seemed to appreciate, as well as belly rubs where the shaved hair was growing in.Read more

I got this to keep my puppy comfortable during recovery from a procedure. Unlike the e-collar from the vet that bumped hard over everything, including my shin, and terrified my puppy while removing it, this was a pleasant alternative. He was able to remove his head the first time when he wore it but that was entirely my fault: I had not attached the collar. Once I attached the collar as stated in the instructions, the donut collar stayed in place. He absolutely loves it. It also serves as a pillow. He can eat, drink, play, run. Follow up email from the seller was a welcome touch, so rare in this day and age. Please note that the dog’s collar needs to fit snuggly on his neck. Once this is done, the collar can be used fully inflated or partially inflated. It cannot slip out because the dog cannot remove the snug dog collar that you loop through the inner section of the donut collar. I highly recommend this collar, good quality, snug fit with room for future expansion. I cannot recommend it enough. Will definitely buy again if needed.Read more

I bought this just in case my pup didn’t like the cone from the vet’s office when she had her spay. I was glad to have it, because three days in she was thrashing around trying to find a comfy spot to sleep with the cone. She seemed to take to the donut a lot quicker than the cone. We’re 5 days into the donut and she has tried to scratch at her neck once or twice but not as much as with the cone. She has been able to eat and drink out of her bowl with it on, eat her chews (which is important because she’s teething) and play with her puzzle toys. The only reason I gave it four stars is because even fully inflated she can reach her feet and clean herself after using the bathroom with it on. She cannot get anywhere near her incision, so it’s not a problem for me, but might be for someone else.Read more

My Freya was obviously quite pleased with the collar because it was comfortable and she didn’t suffer from tunnel vision unlike the plastic collars. Would highly recommend this product to owners who need to keep pets from licking or scratching wounds or after surgery.Read more
