I have found these little nuggets to be the BEST cleaner for toilet bowls. I had some staining in one of my newer toilets due to the extremely low flush volume. I tried cleanser, CLR, toilet bowl cleaners, hand scrubbing…. yet the stain persisted though diminished. I had these for my laundry (which are great for brightening clothes without harsher chemicals) so I tried one in the toilet bowl. Voila! Stains are gone. This is now my go-to for bowl cleaning in my house. I like that they are an alternative to bleach and better for the environment. And they work! You can use them to soak whites for a while to brighten them even more. Great product.Read more

I need scent free products, and I’ve developed an allergy to chlorine so decided to give these pods a try. They do a good job of getting odors out of sweaty, smelly clothing, and a fair job of brightening whites and colors, but not as good at whitening as chlorine. Thus, the 4-star rating. Probably a LOT easier on the fabric than chlorine though. One word of caution. Be sure to put them in the dispenser on your machine. The first time I used them, I put one in the tub with the clothes. It seemed to have left a yellowish-brown stain on a couple of items that happily washed out the next time around. True enough, that was my own fault for not reading the directions.Read more

I first found this in a local supermarket, then it disappeared. So, I purchased it from Amazon, and it works well. Doesn’t leave a heavy chemical smell in the clothes, which is important to me as I have allergies, as well as sensitivities to many odors. It does leave a light ‘clean’ smell, it’s not odorless, if that’s important to you. I think a second rinse would take out the remaining light scent, but then you’d use a heck of a lot more water. Doesn’t leave any residue on clothing, doesn’t change or lighten the color of colored items. It also works extremely well when I wash my makeup laden white washcloths, along my colored kitchen towels, on hot water (with this additive) and my odorless washing liquid. Does it’s job. I’m very happy with it it. I’d be happier if it was a bit less expensive.Read more

My partner had a severe allergic reaction to this product. He had a rash and itching all over from it, necessitating a trip to urgent care and some prescription antihistamines. It took a couple of months of trial and error with different detergents before we narrowed it down to these pods. I realize that this is an unusual reaction to something that’s fragrance free and supposedly hypoallergenic but there’s something in it that he’s allergic to. We haven’t had this problem with name-brand OxyClean, even the stuff with the fragrance. It’s well past the time to return it so I’ll end up finding someone to give it to.Read more

I found this environmentally safe bleach alternative and couldn’t have been more excited! I wash a LOT of whites and want to avoid bleach. Product does not whiten or brighten. Product smells good. I hate to give less than Sterling reviews of any product designed to help the environment. Unfortunately in cold water, which I use almost exclusively, the powder packets don’t full dissolve leaving clumps of powder on the fabrics washed.Read more

My new white fluffy towels can not be washed in bleach.. I went on a search to find an alternative product that would ensure that these beautiful towels would remain white.. I purchased the Grab Green Bleach Alternative which are pods.. Sadly,a number of them broke on route during shipping so I have a lot of loose GGBA in the package.. Despite that, the product does do the job..

This works just as good, if not better than regular bleach for my white linens/sheets. Having switched to an all-natural household, hydrogen peroxide solution wasn’t doing a good enough job to whiten/remove stains. I like pod format, no worries about splashing or discolouring colours. I use this in combination with Grab Green laundry pods. Super happy.Read more
