I know, I know. The bristle brushes are dangerous. My next step is the wooden cleaner, but this thing just doesn’t scrape the way a bristle brush does. I have tried on both my ceramic grille with porcelain grates and my gas grill with stainless. I have to still get the regular brush out to get the real stuck on stuff off of the grill. I hate to complain because it seems really nicely made, but I don’t think it does a good enough job doing what is meant to do, removing gunk from the grates.Read more

Works well when you follow instructions online. They should provide better instructions WITH the product. You have to keep dipping the brushes in water while cleaning the HOT grill. Does do a great job removing debris without leaving those terrible metal pieces. I also previously used a cedar wood scraper that did a great job of not leaving pieces, but a terrible job of actually cleaning the grill. this does both.Read more

A lot of them looked cheap and the reviews sounded fake. I am glad I got this one. It has heft and feels much heavier duty than I expected. The idea of not having bristles seems good. I have never experienced having them appear in my food but, having created a non-bristle cleaning tool seems like a good idea. The problem is that the stainless material, twisted into circles is so hard that I can’t get it to penetrate between the slats of my grill (Weber Spirit). I am a big guy and can really lean on it. So it just goes along the surface. I have tried it at angles, Leaning into it. If it just gave a little it would probably work great. I’m going to have to return it. It may work better on stainless grates. My Spirit has the Iron Grates.Read more
