The media could not be loaded. The cable is well built , the mesh covering is satisfactory and looks like will last a while . Also , there is no noise that can be heard and I’ve been using this for the last 6 hrs, so I guess that’s a good sign. Bonus points for the cable management tieRead more

First, I’ll start with the packaging. It was well packaged with an outer cardboard and plastic insert. Most cables are just sent in bags, and depending on packaging, shipping, handling, etc, there is a chance for damage. I felt like this packaging should protect the cable far better during transit. The connectors and cable seem to be very high quality, quite rigid, and when plugged in provided a very clear tone with no buzzing or interference that cheaper cables have allowed in. Completely satisfied, easily would be my top choice to buy again.Read more

I’ve just come across a bunch of newbies claiming “cables don’t make a difference to your sound anyway”… well, they need to compare one of these to a good, high-quality cable, and then they’ll stop repeating their nonsense and start singing the praises of high-quality cables. Honest to goodness, these have got to be the dullest sounding cables I have ever played through. No sparkle on the top end at all. They even roll off the bass. Everything I tried playing sounded dull and lifeless through them. I plugged my old 20′ cable back in, and OMG… the clarity was back, the bass was nice and deep, every nuance came through. Having noticed a couple people actually remarked how they thought these sounded clear and transparent, I thought perhaps a bit of break-in time might be needed, so I left the amp turned on and the guitar plugged in, but I’m not as patient as I was when I was younger, and after about 4 hours I tried it again, and it was just the same – dull and lifeless, nothing of the nuances of how I subtly touch or bend the strings came through, none of the upper partials that I rely on to hear all of the subtle nuances when I’m playing blues, classic rock leads, or just improvising were coming through at all. So, once more I plugged my old cord back in and BAM! it was all back. I just sat there shaking my head… they claim “clarity”, “enhanced signal transmission”, and “hi-fi sound”, none of which these have… and a couple of reviewers actually claimed these were the best cables they ever heard… makes no sense at all… put these back in the box, and sent them back… worst cable I ever played in all of my 45+ years of playing.Read more

I am only a beginning guitar player, but I like quality and did not like the chord that came with my Stratocaster. I also did not care for the straight plug which stuck straight up out of the top of my amp and was easy to knock and bend. This chord appears well built and it works great for my purposes on the amp end. The connections are tight and appear secure (you can’t see the actual wires) and I love the tweed jacket. I was concerned at first when I saw the box and it showed two straight connections, but when opened I received what I ordered (the straight and 90 deg). The chord is solid black and not a black/white mix as the box shows (the Amazon ad is accurate for when I went back it shows the chord as solid black and it even shows a pic of the improperly pictured box). As far as I can determine, the sound is great and I feel for $10… this is a great value and a much-upgraded chord from what came with my guitar. Definitely recommend!Read more

This thing has great reviews so I suspect I’m a one off but it’s buzzy and now it’s passed my allowed time to return it. I had to buy a replacement and I chose another company just in case. If I fiddle with it I can get it to stop. It’s not a minor buzz, it’s the full on buzz like it’s plugged into an amp and you’re touching the other end open, the buzzing can’t be removed by a noise gate. I should have just returned it right off the bat but a vacation & me choosing to fiddle instead, means now I’ve missed my window. I bought a shorter cord from the same company and have no problem with that one. I think I’ll see if I can solder it to remove the buzzing. I suspect something inside has as short of a cracked solder joint causing the intermittent.Read more

After looking around for a low cost but decent cable to connect my bass guitar and keyboard to my amp, I had a choice between New bee, and Donner (both were $10). Reading the Donner reviews showed that the cable was likely to have crackling/popping issues, so I went with the New bee one. Really couldn’t be more pleased. Cable is perfect for my needs, no hissing, popping, etc. Nice clean sound. It’s thinner than most, but feels quite durable. I have no reason to believe it won’t last for many years. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive instrument cable.Read more

Avoid this one! The tip came of one of the jacks after a couple of days. Also the back shell on the jack kept loosening off, causing lots of noise. Save your money! Buy something else!Read more
