This is such a cool easel, and my daughter (age 3) loves it! Our friends purchased one for their girls (ages 3 and 1) and they love it too. I bought a smock, paint and an additional roll of paper to accompany the easel. I tried to put it together but failed miserably. So much stuff is made of plastic these days. Plastic, plastic, plastic! Cheap-o and ugly. This easel is perfect–made from sturdy wood, adjustable, timeless and designed well. Grand-child loves it and Gemma loves it because it makes her happy! And it doesn’t make Gemma’s house look like a day-care. Grand-baby is two now, but I estimate she’ll be able to use this for many years to coem thanks to the adjustability–and ultimately, long in the future, it can be placed upon a tabble-top or even have alternate legs easily custom made to give it more height — because, you know, it’s made of wood.Read more

This is a great buy! I got it on sale. It is very sturdy, my two year old used it to climb onto the couch several times, luckily I was able to curb that habit but I’m impressed that it didn’t break or even wobble. The wood is nicely finished, no splinters or questionable looking areas, nothing dangerous or sharp. The only way this product could be improved is if it had a way to easily cut the paper.
