Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water, Hydrate With Natural Electrolytes, Fair for Life Certified, 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)

(16 customer reviews)

Nam Hom Coconuts- Found in Thailand, every Nam Hom farm we work with is organic certified – grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or sewage sludge
Like Drinking From A Coconut – Never thermally pasteurized! We use a proprietary multi-step micro-filtration process. No extra ingredients, our Harmless Harvest coconut water is the closest you can come to drinking straight from the coconut
No Sugar Added – Nothing is added to our coconut water. The 14g of sugar in each serving is naturally occurring just like the electrolytes (making it a good source of potassium)
Naturally Pink- Our Coconut Water is totally clear when we bottle it, and afterwards some bottles turn pink due to varying levels of antioxidants and interaction with elements, such as light. We do not use thermal pasteurization to process our coconut water or acidify our coconut water (by addition of ingredients like ascorbic acid), so it has a tendency to turn a pink hue over time. Instead of hiding this element by adding Vitamin C / Ascorbic Acid, we choose to embrace it
Keep It Cool – Please refrigerate immediately upon arrival for best experience! We’ve spent years perfecting a filtration process to keep our coconut water tasting distinctly fresh. This makes it safe to ship non-refrigerated. Shake well before consuming!
Fair For Life – Certified for our commitment to social accountability and fair trade. For the communities where we farm and bottle, our commitment translates to new school uniforms, water filtration systems, and mobile medical trucks for preventative healthcare

Bottles came in frozen and the color of coconut water is clear, NOT as pink as the page described. (Updated: 5 days in refrigerator, most bottles turned pink.) Frankly it doesn’t affect the flavor, still tastes good. However, I was almost pleased until I went to Costco today. Costco has it for $13.99 for 6* 14FL OZ. I paid here $22.5 for 6* 12FL OZ. ($44.99 for 12* 12FL OZ) This is a ridiculous rip off! Go to Costco/BJ’s or any wholesales club for your happy hour.I learned my lesson already. Hope you NOT.Read more

I am Brazilian and I never liked the coconut water in bottles or cans, specially here in the United States. I am so glad I found Harmless Harvest it’s worth every penny! When my package arrived it was so cold and the water was parcial frozen, tasted so fresh and sweet!Read more

It’s too bad Harmless Harvest is so expensive because this is the best tasting coconut water I have come across. I wish there was a better system for buying in bulk. Especially the larger bottles. The taste is 5 Stars!!Read more

i have been drinking coconut water for maybe 3 decades or something like that, i used to get it in little cardboard boxes with a small straw to poke through a foil place on the top, and this gave a feeling of sucking coconut water right out of a coconut. Gradually all the brands except Trader Joes stopped including the straws, sadly. But i got it at Trader Joes with the straws. Currently they are not able to get it so i turned to Amazon to find a new coconut water to drink. i was looking for the 11oz container with pure organic coconut water, most importantly, no sugar added, and nothing added. i like sweet things as much as the next person but i enjoyed having the alternative of pure coconut water which was at most mildly sweet, a sweet aftertaste, not a pronounced sweetness. i bought one brand that met all those criteria except sugar was added and i didn’t notice it because i thought “pure coconut water” meant nothing added. So i gave those away because i wanted the taste of coconut water and not sugar. Any sweetness to my coconut water would have to be mild and more of a slight aftertaste. Because this brand seemed to have all the things i wanted, it was 12oz, close enough to 11oz, and because it was pure coconut water, and because the ingredients said that was all that was in it, i accepted having to pay a much higher price than all the other coconut waters. When the first shipment arrived (i got two shipments, one from WholeFoods which i could get next day, and the other larger order directly from this company which took longer to come (but the company did ship it really fast and it arrived earlier than estimated, i appreciate that). When i drank the coconut water, i was disappointed because it was very sweet. I guess their coconut water is sweeter than other coconut waters i’ve drank over the years. Unlike some reviewers, i would not say it was bad at all, if you want sweetness that’s more than a mild aftertaste, i thought it was great, really good, but that wasn’t what i wanted. it’s very smooth and i like sweet as much as the next person, but in coconut water i’m looking for the kind of mild sweetness i dont’ even taste at first. So this is just me, i read many of the reviews now, not before i ordered, and i see many people like the sweetness a lot and i can see why. But i was disappointed. i looked at the ingredients and the list of vitamins, sodium, and sugars. It says on the contiainer of one serving, 20 grams of sugars. On the description on the Amazon page, it says 14 grams of sugar per serving, in the list of things they say about what’s good about it. My 12 oz serving says 20 grams of sugars. The kind of coconut water i drank before had 13 grams of sugar in an 11 oz serving. This Harmless kind said it had 14 grams in a 12 oz serving, so i thought that was close enough. No wonder it’s sweeter than i thought it would be, 20 grams is a lot of sugar and obviously tastes much sweeter than the 13 grams of sugars i’m used to. i’m sure it must be hard for the company that makes it to please people who want it to be more sweet and people who want it to be less sweet. i would just say, it would have helped me avoid buying something i didn’t want if they would put the right amount of the contents on their Amazon description. At the end of the list of nutritional contents, there’s a hyperlink that says Report incorrect information. So i clicked on that and filled a out a short form, but when i got to the comments where i could tell them which information is incorrect, the form wouldn’t let me type anything. Rightly or wrongly, this gave me the feeling they weren’t really interested. It was a lot of money, and i know i’m taking my chances when i order something, but these negative experiences add up. Happily i found another brand that has the taste i’m looking for. That one has a couple of other problem issues for me, i will try to figure out how to adapt to that, and will keep looking for a brand that has everything i want and need, and hope that Trader Joes will get theirs back in, and with the little straws.Read more

This brand of coconut water is literally the best there is – a little sweet, tasted fresh out of the coconut, and made me feel super hydrated. Stuck it in the fridge right when it arrived as the box instructed, and it was a great refreshing afternoon pick-me-up! Love that it is both organic and fair for life certified, this is a huge win in my book. Hoping there is a subscribe & save option for this soon… I already need more!Read more

I usually drink Zico and never bought this because of the price. Coca Cola (??) decided Zico was no longer a profitable line and it was discontinued. I read feedback from others saying how good Harmless Harvest is, so I decided to try it. Now I don’t think I can drink the others! This is amazing! The downside is that it has 20grams of sugar in a bottle. I started pouring out half the bottle and filing with filtered water. It cuts down on sugar and it makes for a pleasant tasting water. Not as good as the regular bottle, but still delish. Need to find bigger bottles, because I can’t bring myself to keep buying all these plastic bottles.Read more

Unfortunately when this was delivered it was wet inside, I requested a refund and received it, even though the company stated they ship the product frozen so the moisture was likely condensation. I was allowed to keep the product. I tasted the product and for lack of a better expression it tasted like a**. I gave one to a worker who then asked “ugh what’s wrong with this?” So, it wasn’t just me. After being able to taste an unspoiled bottled it confirmed, for me, the product was compromised in shipping, it wasn’t just condensation in the package. The unspoiled bottle tasted sweet, has a slight aftertaste I didn’t care for, but was far from the bad taste of the shipped product. In turn I tried the Organic Vita Coco and it was much more palatable than the unspoiled Harmless. This would come down to which is more nutritious. If it’s taste alone the Organic Vita Coco would be my choice. My research indicated that Harmless is nutritionally better but not enough for me to endure the aftertaste. Harmless is also considerably more expensive to boot.Read more
