If I’m here writing a review, you know it’s bad. This is far more difficult than the regular, ADULT version of Clue. Like… unnecessarily difficult. My twins 8-year-olds and I played, after I gave them this as a birthday gift. Set up and learning game play took forever. Then when we got rolling, we quickly learned that one of the “item” tokens isn’t listed on the score pad to prove or disprove! Very poor design overall. Very disappointing.Read more

I got this for my six year old nephew because he likes to “play” the real clue with us but doesn’t quite understand. It is so hard to learn even for my brother snd I who are adults. My nephew did not like it. Now it’s collecting dust until we can have a yard sale and another family can try it out!Read more

It took me awhile to figure out how to set up the game the first time I played with my 6 year old grandson but when I finally figured it out, it was easy to play and the rules easy to understand. The game board is cluttered looking with all the pieces on it and it’s easy to cover a spot that shouldn’t be covered. Age shows 5 and up but I think it is better suited for a little bit older kids.Read more

Okay, honestly…massive Marvel fan and bought this as part of my goal to bring my 5 year old nephew counterbalance his DC loving step-dad…(lol). So first off, this was a Christmas gift. Wrapped it with standard Scotch tape. Immediately upon unwrapping the cheapness came through. It was impossible to remove the three pieces of tape without ripping the artwork on the box. The box instantly looked terrible. Secondly, there are 8,000 steps (really, more like 25, but I went with 8,000 for emphasis) to set up the game. Not fun when you have an excited 5 year old wanting to play. You even had to put the numbers on the dice…(insert eye roll) Thirdly, the pieces are large and the board is small…like clue, there is no direct path to each “room” but there is this faint dotted line connecting each target spot as a path. But the pieces are so large, that it was very difficult to see around them to know where you could go on the board…very frustrating when trying to teach a 5 year old a game. Finally, my nephew had to play with his mom the first time as it was just a tad too difficult for him to catch on, and even us adults for the most part. On a positive note, when we finally started playing, he eventually got the hang of it, and he won!! Which was nice!Read more

I looked at this for my 5 year old who doesn’t read yet, and this has been much harder for him to learn than a game of regular clue would have been. Even I struggled with understanding exactly how to do it. We played twice over the span of 3 days and he said he didn’t want to play again because it was too hard.Read more

This is not as much like the original Clue as you’d think. It was very confusing to learn. The directions are written poorly or missing key information. 4 of us read through the directions, including 2 adults, and we couldn’t figure it out well enough. The game was not fun due to the confusion about how to play.Read more

We played it as a family Christmas Eve and it was wicked confusing. The board is cluttered and hard to navigate. The multitude of dice and color codes to memorize make it not so fun. I will likely immediately put this on marketplace as I can’t ever see is playing it again.Read more

This is by far the worst kids game I’ve ever played with my children. They all hated it and said “it stinks”. The rules are confusing for little kids to follow and the actual game board layout is incredibly crowded and it’s difficult to navigate the game path. I would rate this zero stars if I could.Read more
