I bought this Hermitshell Extra Large Hard EVA Case to store my sleeved(using Dragon shield sleeves) and non sleeved Magic: The Gathering cards. I chose this case because it had majority good reviews and I needed a big case to store all my cards. Well, they aren’t wrong but I may have gotten a bit smaller size than they did? Anyways, My sleeved cards can only fit well if its fitted diagonally or horizonally, but not vertically(even in a Dragon shield paper box or Magic Ultra Pro Deck boxes). My 80+ deck box fits in well laying down but not the 100 card and accessory shelf deck box. I have no idea how other people fit bigger deck boxes or even the paper Dragon shield boxes in there. Either they really shoved it in there or they got a bigger size than mine. So this case may not be for everybody, especially those who wants all there cards to fit in vertically. I dont mind, this box works out for me because I am only using this as storage, not going to take it out for FNM or Casual Magic days. Hopefully my pictures help out. Ima contact the seller and see if they have a different size because other review shows the case fitting in deck boxes nicely.Read more

I’m a little bit disappointed but not because of a problem with the case. The case is very sturdy and will please you if you use it exactly for what it is meant to be. But you have to know that this particular model was designed specifically for 88mm long cards. I wanted to use it for my Dominion cards but their length of 91mm makes it impossible to pile them in the two long columns. The width at the base of these columns is really 88mm (snugged fit for C.A.H. or MTG cards) and it would damage longer cards if you tried to press them down. I have no choice now to organize my cards at a 90 degree angle with the obvious organization. In that configuration (using 4 of the six dividers provided), I can fit my 1350 cards collection, separators included. There’s no room for more though. I will have to store my 97 randomizer cards somewhere else 🙁 The good news is since Dominion cards are narrower (59mm instead or 63mm), there’s room for my custom made 68mm high separators under the lid when closed. BTW, the case I received did not have the tobacco smell frequently mentionned.Read more

Great case, however it does smell like cigarette smoke when you open it up. Don’t know if it’s due to the materials or the people handling it, but it has a smell. Although some reviewers have said it lasts a long time, I didn’t have that issue. I opened it up, loaded it with the original Cards Against Humanity, the Red Box expansion pack, Geek Pack and the 90’s Nostalgia Pack = 960 cards and had a ridiculous amount of room left over. The dividers are great, work very well and hold place nicely. I didn’t have any “smell” issues with it by the time I got to my sister’s house, which was a 4 hour drive. Handle and zippers seem pretty sturdy. I’m pleased overall.Read more

The case arrived as expected, no damage, exactly as advertised. But like a lot of the other

If it had about 2mm more clearance, so you could insert sleeved cards “obviously” I’d give it a 10. If you don’t intend to sleeve stuff, then you’re all good. See pics for two options. The “long column” method is iffy for mtg/Dragonshield sleeves. Use that if your cards are unsleeved. Use the second method for sleeved cards. There should be room for three such columns. The visible deck is the entire base Hero Realm set, the 5 class add-ons, and the two current Boss monsters (Lich/Dragon) with associated cards. Edit: I do notice that, thanks to the “organic” corners, it does tend to curl the corners of the sleeves at the “triple” corners.. This is disappointing because it’s so unnecessary. It’s still a good case, but some people are really really fanatical about edges being curled at all. As long as you regularly shift them around, it should not affect the cards permanently.Read more

Good case but had to return it because of the HORRIBLE SMELL. Tried air fresheners, airing it out, and everything else. Can’t even describe it but it smells up an entire room. If your nose doesn’t work or you can somehow overcome the smell, it’s a good case.Read more

Really is a well made case for cards, and the price is certainly right. The middle divider is not removable, but the smaller partitions are. This is a practical, useful, and well made case for those who just want to save space and travel easy. I bought it for CAH and expansion packs, and it holds it all well. In this case I can carry 1200 CAH cards, two decks of Phase10, one complete deck of Taboo and the little purple card-flipper + the sand timer. That my friends, is a party box. If you are uber-picky about your cards staying in perfect shape, you might look at another case. This one is great, and will probably keep my cards safe forever, but it will not keep them in ‘flawless mint’ condition. There will likely be some small chafing of the cards at the outermost edges. Just something to consider for those with resale value in mind. Would gladly recommend to others looking for a way to conveniently transport their CAH + expansion packs.Read more

no idea where these are stored but mine just smells of stale cigar smoke. not nice at all and totally put me off the idea of using it. i wouldnt suggest these. 04/03/2020 – got rid of the smell after weeks of treatment. and then ordered another one last week and that didnt smell at all. the boxes are great and strong. i purchased a few other types and they where rubbish and flimsyRead more

What can I say? It’s a durable box for cards against huge manatees (yes, that’s a joke for a reason, no I’m not stupid). It has 2 rows, and these flimsy detachable dividers. Well, they’re kinda flimsy but they hold the cards, and if you don’t wanna use them you can always stick them to the top then giggle when you remember those people velcroing themselves to walls and stuff. Otherwise yeah. Excellent value. Excellent size. Excellent strength and durability.Read more

Bought this for yugioh cards it’s an ok fit wouldn’t get them in sleeved but the low star review is for the smell of the product itself left it in my car at work and had leave the doors open to get rid of the smell the case itself absolutely stinks of some musty cigarette smoke smell and am really struggling to get rid of it which if I can’t will make the case useless to me since posting this review have soaked the case in fabric cleaner overnight and still has the smell only now so does my bathroom am going to try chucking it in the washing machine absolutely ridiculousRead more

Sturdy, reliable case that will be used to store yugioh cards. I would say that it looks a lot more expensive than it is and the case is hard so you know that cards will be safe, also plenty of space and individual dividers inside.Read more

Great size nice quality. Got it because our cards were taking up way too much room but this is great for organising them and saving space. Really easy to see what we’ve got now and much better than the big folders with plastic wallets because we can keep decks together. And we’ve still got a bit of space for more card now!Read more
