I use these for my cats, and although it’s innately difficult to brush feline teeth, these seem to do the trick. If you haven’t brushed your cat’s teeth before, don’t expect to get a full cleaning the first, second, or even third try. It takes them more time than you too get used to the concept, but in time they’ll acclimate while you get better at your technique.Read more

I use this product nightly to brush my cat’s teeth. I’d never even considered doing something like that before until I rescued my little guy and learned he’s got an issue that will eventually cause his teeth to come loose from his gums and fall out if I don’t do something about it. Well, okay then. It took both of us a while to get used to the idea, and I did try a few different products. These toothbrushes are what I use the most often. My cat’s gums have improved so much! Get some of the appropriate toothpaste for your cat/dog, and start a new, healthy routine. They won’t suffer down the road while dealing with gum disease, and you won’t suffer having to watch them suffer and then pay a lot of money to address the issues which could’ve been avoided. I often think, What if I never brushed my teeth? The cavities and rotting and bad breath and tummy issues are all avoided because of something I do twice daily. My cat deserves me to care for him a couple minutes every night for his future’s sake. Yes, I have become THAT cat-mom! LOL!Read more

I had the opportunity to use this toothbrush on my 40 pound coonhound. My dog does not mind having her teeth brushed and will sit for the process every night. Prior to this, I had used a finger brush, but found it too big for her mouth and the plastic bristles too hard. However, this dual headed brush fits well, the bristles are soft enough and the double head allows both a focused brush on the inner molars with the smaller brush, and a more sweeping brush with the larger head for the more anterior teeth. I use Petrodex with the brushes and find that any start of gingivitis can be halted with a daily brushing lasting about 3-4 minutes. I have not tried to remove any tartar on her teeth directly, as I am concerned that metal scraping without polishing could injure the enamel of her tooth. Any local tartar is likely to be a cosmetic issue as long as there is no gingivitis. So, this is a very good brush, and so far has held up well with daily brushing. Highly recommended.Read more

Absolutely perfect for pugs! Small enough to reach back teeth in a tiny pug mouth; something I couldn’t accomplish with finger brushes or other pet toothbrushes.Read more

I purchased the multi pack of small toothbrushes to use on my cats. They are way too stiff to use in an animals mouth. I’m an LVT and my husband is a DVM. We both agree that the bristles are too stiff. I used one on one of my cats before checking the stiffness. I feel horrible. He was obviously uncomfortable and it caused his gums to bleed. I highly suggest purchasing a kit from your vet like a product from C.E.T. These brushes are horrible.Read more

Let me first preface this by saying that I bought the pak of 4 toothbrushes. I did NOT buy the finger brush. ( in my experience they re awkward to use and are rather big). I was not expecting much as this pak came with FOUR brushes? Wow. I’d normally pay the same price for one at the local Petsmart. I read that someone claimed the bristles were hard but I did it find thst to be the case. In fact, the bristles are perfect. Neither hard nor soft. These come with two sizes on each end. I use the small for a 7 pound chihuahua. In the past, I’ve found dual type brushes cumbersome to use – not so for these. I’ve used one brush now 3xs a week for several weeks and it is still in great condition. Again for the price I expected the bristles to quickly begin to fall out or bend. Again, I am pleasantly surprised and very happy I purchased these.Read more

The head of the brush is small and thin, but the bristles are a little too long for my cat who has a very small mouth and difficult to slide the brush inside her cheeks to get the back teeth. I just used some scissors to trim a couple mm off the bristles and now it’s the perfect fit! I’ve had other brushes with short bristles, but plastic head was too big or too thick. At least with H&H, you can trim the bristles to fit the smallest of mouths or snouts!Read more

The length of the brush handles allows god access into the rear reaches of my dog’s mouth. I like the wider bristle head that tapers to the front for allowing the application of more toothpaste and for covering more enamel area on the teeth themselves. Having a large bristle head at one end and a smaller one at the opposite end of the handle is also convenient for cleaning the canine teeth more easily. Four brushes at this price was a bonus considering they are the best dog toothbrushes I have purchased in years. Highly recommend this product and seller.Read more

This cat toothbrush is very easy to use. The bristles are small and target the teeth and gums. There wasn’t too much plaque before, but now there is none and gingivitis is almost gone! Best brush I’ve found. My cats also don’t really mind the brushing much with this brush. One tip, wet the brush with really hot water and gently rub a finger over it before use, so gums don’t bleed. Especially if you’ve not used a brush on your cat’s gums before.Read more

Nothing worked when I tried to brush her teeth. I tried everything else and she would fight against my attempts (thankfully she doesn’t scratch me – my sweet and kind cat!). Once I got this, she actually let me brush her teeth. Don’t ask me why lol. I’m just glad it worked! Highly recommend for those with stubborn cats who hate their teeth brushed.Read more

I really like these tooth brushes The small size is really what I was looking for I have 2 very small dogs 5lbs & 8 lbs I prefer the smaller side for them but if you have a bigger dog it would work good for a med size dog well made and gentle on there teeth and gums. Yes I would recommend this itemRead more

Great toothbrushes for a good price as well. A lot easier to use for my pup than most other 2 headed brushes and seems to be easier on the gum.Read more

It is definitely not “soft” as it indicates. Just as your average original teethbrush at best.Read more
