This charger works just as well as Apple’s, although I cannot attest for longevity as I have only had for a little while right now. I’m so happy I went with this charger rather than the brand name at more than twice the price. It’s charging quickly and staying in the port. Fast delivery and professional packaging make this a great product and I will definitely buy again when the need arises. Edited…..After 4 weeks of use the charger makes my McBook chime constantly when plugged in but not being used. I checked to make sure all the connections are secure but it still makes the chime evry 10 or 15 seconds when plugged in but closed. It still charges but the sound is very annoying.Read more

This came in 2 days after I ordered, and works perfect so far. I rather spend $30 on this charger than $70+ on an Apple charger. Works just fine, charges my laptop quick. Not a whole lot to say here that hasn’t been said, but I’ll try to note some of the less-focused points just for information’s sake: As others have said, this does seem finish a charge and poll the plugged device periodically. This does cause a mac to chime that it’s finished charging when it’s left plugged in. It will chime every minute or so, which can be irritating. Maybe this is one you’d rather use as a backup rather than a primary sustaining charger? This charger is the same size as the one from Apple. The only notable difference being that it doesn’t have an embossed Apple logo. The charger feels the same quality, where MAYBE the duckbill portion of it feels a little flimsy when it’s folded up, but doesn’t feel as so when it’s unfolded to be plugged in. At this point, I wouldn’t worry about this piece. The cable has the exact same texture as the apple cables. Would be very hard to see the difference. Except this comes with a nice velcro strap to help wind it and keep it in check. This is a small but nice bonus. The packaging was both very simple and complete. A simple cardboard box, but the charger was wrapped in protective film and shipped in bubble wrap, which is very encouraging. Basically, this does exactly what you want and doesn’t get in the way. I see not having more to say as a feature.Read more

I got this charger two days ago to replace my factory Apple charger. I’m a schoolteacher and the charger stopped working in the middle of my virtual lesson.
