The media could not be loaded. Overall, it’s a nice mount, and at the price it’s a good value. Both the windshield mount and the vent mount are sturdy, with minimal shaking when you hit bumps. The windshield mount does bounce a bit if it’s fully extended, but that’s a pretty minor complaint. It seems simple and intuitive to place the phone in the mount and release it, and the ergonomics are such that I don’t feel like I might drop my phone. And once the phone is mounted it feels really secure, I don’t feel like there’s a chance it’ll pop out if I hit a pothole etc. Fit and finish is very nice for the price, the front face has a carbon fiber look to it, and the plastic feels smooth. The mechanism that grips and releases the phone feels nice, it has detents you can feel/hear as your tightening the clamp. Given that it offers a lot of flexibility, feels sturdy, and is easy to use, it’s a good buy.Read more

To be honest, I didn’t expect the Andobil to work as well as it does. It’s really quite affordable and I’m accustomed to inexpensive items not performing as well as this car phone mount performs for me. I own an iPhone 8 and chose to use the dash mount with the extender arm rather than the air vent clip. I did not require the additional 3M adhesion disc they provide you (which is a nice gesture). I applied the mount per the instructions and it held the first time. I do want to acknowledge the fact that in the instructions they mention to ensure you don’t mount the phone in a way that would impede airbag deployment which I thought was considerate and I appreciated the reminder. I’ve traveled over railroad tracks, speed bumps and hit a pot hole that could fit a small volkswagen (ok, maybe not that big) and the mount held it’s position unlike other items I’ve tried. No swivel, no dropping of the phone, no movement whatsoever. I was really impressed. It’s not too big that it impeded my vision while driving and it’s arm adjustments allow it to be placed in a position that’s right for me. For the record, I own a Subaru Legacy. It may or may not relate to the product performance and I thought I’d throw it in anyway. I haven’t tried it on any other car. I’m quite happy with this product and I hope it performs as well for you as it does for me.Read more

I am so disappointed. I was really excited about this product due to the reviews and haven’t had much luck finding one that fits my iPhone 11 pro max. It was exactly how described but it doesn’t stick to my dashboard. I tried it both ways with the base and without. I will be returning it. On the search again for another mount. The vent mount works great. So after my review I was contacted by the seller. Diana has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They offered to send me a new suction cup and ask for any suggestions I am have to fix my disappointment. They have been in steady contact with me even send how to video to install the new cup and tracking information. Seriously hope the new cup works. The company itself has been AMAZING with their fast response to my posting. Got home today 6-23-2020 and recieved a brand new mount. I am so excited. After installing it, it was truly everything I had hope the original one would be. I have a iphone 11 pro max and this mount is able to support it. I will be relocating to a new state and learning my way around. Really didn’t feel comfortable having my phone in my hand trying to follow the GPS. Thanks again Diana for all your help.Read more

Like: – The vent option is unique (in my experience) and awesome. Unlike most vent kits, you do not force this one into the vent, hoping you can get it out. Rather there is an adjustable “pincer.” It’s thumb screw opens and closes the pincer. You open the pincer, place it on the vent, and then close/tighten the pincer. It’s firmly there until you reverse the process. – The phone holder then attaches to the ball joint on the vent mount. Once positioned you tighten the screw on the ball and it firmly holds the phone mount in place at your desired viewing angle. – The phone holder easily holds most phones (Samsung S10+ shown here in photos). You push a button and the side clamps pop open. Set your phone in the cradle and push the side closures together around the phone. As you close the sides, they ratchet-click until tight and the phone is firmly in place. To release the phone, push the button and the side clamps easily pop open. – The bottom charger cord fits through the space on the bottom of the phone holder cradle. I did not need to try the suction cup window mount or the dash mount disk setup. They look very well conceived. I like everything about this whole setup… lots of options, well designed, and everything is included! Do know that if you use the vent mount and your vent slats are “floppy” it could be difficult to keep it adjusted at a good angle. Mine works great (Subaru), and I mounted it on the lowest vent slat, so no wobble problems there (note, the mount itself will NOT wobble on the slats, it’s only your slats that may tend to close downward with the weight of the phone). (Note: I did not rate the suction cup since I did not have to even try it.) Hint: The vent mount worked so well, and I fished the power cord around my steering column, put a few Command clips to secure, and the cord is totally out of the way.Read more
