I was heartbroken when my kitchenaid broke, because I used it almost every day. I must admit that I was drawn in by the low price because it was half the cost of my last one. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be as good or the motor wouldn’t be as strong, but I actually like it better. It’s just as powerful and still has a quiet motor. It stands still on my counter so I don’t have to worry about it bumping around or spilling anything. It has the standard paddle type attachment that I am used to. I really like the bubble wisk. It’s really good for whipping eggs or cream. The dough hook is very handy, too. It does a better job of kneading than my bread machine and definitely better than what I can do by hand.Read more

This mixer is not as advertised. The bowl actually holds 8 quarts (filled to the brim), NOT even close to 9.5 quarts. The actual mixing capacity (filled to the top of the flat beater) is about 6 quarts. Very disappointing. It’s advertised as “10 speed” but what it actually has is 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. That’s 5 speeds. Counting by 2’s doesn’t make it have twice as many speeds, Howork. It’s also pretty noisy, as some of the other reviews mentioned. I think I’m going to return this.Read more

It was time for a new mixer, but I have no need for any optional attachments. I needed something for breads as a bake frequently at home. This works well to mix, and bulk fermentation in the bowl. Less dishes at home. Not super quiet, but I am hoping as it wears in that the grease inside does it’s job. I am a little disappointed that the mixer does not have an adjustment for bowl height as the paddle seems to be a bit too far from the bowl, about a half inch. The whip attachment is the same way, which is very disappointing. We’d to have quite a bit of butter or cream/egg whites in the bowl for these two attachments to be anywhere near efficient.Read more

I honestly think this is better than other stand mixers I have used in the past in my opinion. The bowl is HUGE, I can easily double and even triple my recipes to make more at one time. It has suction cups at the bottom to keep in place, and it comes with all the attachments I love to use. It’s easy to change attachments and to lift and push down the head is just a pull of a lever. I recommend!Read more

I bought this FOUR weeks ago. Used it for the first time yesterday and the paddle broke while mixing. Very disappointed as I had to throw away the batch I was making and fish out the broken pieces. I’d like to make it clear I was mixing a thin wet mix on level 2 with eggs and dry goods for the base of a brownie before adding chocolate. I was not over working it by any means. Just poor construction. Then I put on the whisk attachment and as you can see it doesn’t get within an inch of the side of the bowl. So I came on here today to try to return it and I see that my return window ended yesterday. Real nice. DO NOT BUY.Read more

This is an ideal mixer to make cakes and bread for your family. The bowl is big enough to put enough amount of eggs and flour to mix in. All three metal stirring heads are easy to be assembled. The knob is turning blue after you plug in. You can switch from level 1 to 10 based on your need. For the two gifts, the egg separator is not that easy to use cuz it’s relatively soft.Read more

This is a great mixer. Such a wonderful size bowl. I can make double batches of cookies in the bowl and only need to scrap the sides or bottom once in awhile. I had to do that even with other mixers. The endurance is wonderful! I plan to do Divinity candy in it because it is so powerful. My other mixer burned out when making this delicious candy. Picked the silver with a copper looking top, beautiful and fits well on my kitchen bar. It comes with a bread dough hook, whisk, batter tool, and a cover so the dry ingredients do not fly all over the place. It has everything I need. It is truly a Beauty, Powerful, and such a Large Bowl!Read more
