I didn’t realize, when I read the descriptions, that this monitor does NOT come with a VGA cable. It mentions that it can be used with HDMI and VGA, but never mentions that it only comes with an HDMI cable. If you, lke me, must have a VGA cable, go buy one if you want to make the connection. It reminded me why I, for any years, never bought HP. I should have remembered. And during a chat with and Amazon help, he asked if I had a copy of the warranty. Well, that never came either. There were 2 pamplets in2 different languages that seemed to be warranties, by none in English. Oh well, I’ll just go, masked and gloves, and buy a VGA cable and get on with life.Read more

Do not buy this. I have an AtGames Gamer’s Pro that only takes hdmi wide screen and it’s showing out of range. My only reason is that the HDMI input is NOT a true HDMI. I have another 19″ wide that’s 10 years old and that works with my Gamer’s Pro with no problem. On top of that the viewing angle is horrible despite what other review says. I guess other people never experienced an IPS screen. This was a waste of my time as I waited 4 days for this junk.Read more

This was such a terrible experience!!! I needed these for work and due to them turning off anytime you move the monitor because the cords or the actual monitors have a short. I work in the medical field and there is nothing worse than being on the phone with a patient and you want to adjust the screen and it turns off and you have to wiggle the cord and play with it to get it back working so you can finish helping your patientsRead more

If you feed this monitor a signal it doesn’t like on the VGA port, it puts up a big warning box on the screen demanding that you change the resolution. Unfortunately the big warning box prevents you from changing the resolution. The it runs a countdown timer of 30 seconds to shut itself off. All of this time, it is successfully displaying an image at the resolution it claims it cannot handle (but obscured by the threatening countdown displays before it shuts itself off). My conclusion is that this monitor was either intentionally crippled in firmware, or the firmware was written by an idiot. Either way, you don’t want this monitor unless you only want to use it in the one (non-standard) display format that it supports.Read more

I am a teacher and got this monitor so I could have a dual screen for Meets and my Learning Management System. I am constantly losing the screen because the power cord is so loose. I wish it would click in so it was a tighter fit. Definitely frustrating to be in a Meet with students and sharing my screen with them then suddenly lose my screen!Read more

I bought this monitor new in February 2021. The first issue I noticed is that the HDMI connector comes loose every time there is the slightest vibration on the computer desk. Then in May, after the return window closed, there was moisture collection under the surface of the screen in the bottom right corner (photo 2). Then, in July it got worse AND there were now white horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen. (photo 1). This evening, September 9/2021 at 10pm, I noticed a red vertical line on the right hand side of the screen (photo 3) as well as some smaller vertical lines going up from the moisture blob (photo 6). All of the drivers are up to date. I did a factory reset on the monitor and did a hard shut down. Upon restart, I see the white horizontal lines are more in number and take up an inch up from the bottom of the screen, there is a green spot that looks like a leaf in the left bottom corner AND a rainbow of vertical lines along the left hand side from top to bottom and flowing down from the leaf blob (photo 4). Photo 5 shows how ‘BEAUTIFUL’ the entire screen is now. I am FINALLY able to afford a replacement and will be sending this BACK to HP under the warranty.Read more
