These grow bags are a great way to get your plants started, and having an observation window would be so cool to help children observe root structure and growth, or to harvest some root vegetables without disturbing the plant itself. The window is large enough to facilitate this. The side handles are nice, but if the bag is full, it will be heavy enough to make moving it difficult. This would be a nice way to grown a container garden on a deck or patio, and after the growing season is over, you can empty, wash, refold and put away in very little storage space!Read more

I just replanted my 4 sweet potato plant in these 2 heavy duty 10 gallon Grow Bags and I am very happy with them. The material is super thick and sturdy just what I needed to make sure that it will last a long time with the daily heat and watering it gets. The 10 gallon is perfect for potatoes, sweet potatoes and hopefully next year carrots. The price is worth it because of its high quality. I was surprised to find out how big the 10 gallon bags. I had to fill them with dirt and glad that I have enough. My plants looks sure happy in them. They have lots of room to grow.Read more

I specifically purchased this bag for its depth. When gardening, it’s not just about volume. I have submitted pictures showing what I mean. The sellers have a picture with measurements, and “5 gallons” at the top. So they weren’t describing one of their other bags of a different size. They claim that the height of this bag is 17.71 inches. I measured just a tiny bit over 9 1/2 inches from the bottom of the bag to the very top. The diameter is actually a little bit bigger than what they said, too. But either way, it’s in accurate, and I can’t use it for what vegetables I was intending. it is pretty thick, but not super sturdy. Will probably do fine for some other veggies.Read more

These bags are listed showing 11″ tall and 6″ diameter for the 1-gallon pots. The pots I received are 6″ tall and 6″ diameter. They’d be better served using for a chef’s hat. Lbvs Now that I thought I was ready to plant I now have to wait to get my refund and reorder due to being too short for my application. This is the first time I’ve ever ordered anything on Amazon that wasn’t what was described / pictured. It couldn’t be more of an inconvenience. Smh.Read more

I bought this brand (2 gallon) because it was deeper than the competition. It turns out that it’s not. The bottom measures 8.75″ dia. while the side/depth is 7.75″. That’s 4″ shorter than advertised. This is my 1st time deviating from the Smart Pot line and I’m willing to give them a chance. I am disappointed that they lied about the dimensions. I’ll come back and increase or decrease my review/stars after I’ve planted some things. I went with 3 stars because that’s average. The bottom seam is open to the outside instead of on the inside, like Smart Pots, which doesn’t look as tidy. Due to the handle design, which is also not as pictured/described, I can’t flip them inside-out. I won’t know more until I see how they hold up. I’ll be back.

When i saw these on Amazon i thought they were just what i needed for gardening.I did read some of the reviews &you know how that goes;some good some bad…i hate to say it but i should’ve took the negatives more serious..They was right on about the bags being the wrong size.I just got them today&i opened them& i thought your kidding me..I wanted 5 gallon size,i thought i was getting 5gallon…wrong.if you set them against a 5gallon bucket you can see they are’nt 5 gallon size.I gave 3 stars because of it.I’ll keep them&try them in my garden but I’ll pay more attention about the reviews when i read them about the size being wrong..very disappointed…

It’s beyond me why so many sellers of smart pots lie about the size of them. 3 of my last 4 smart pot purchases were smaller than advertised. As you can see in the photo, this seller is no different. That’s a 5 gallon bucket inside of their “5 gallon” pot. These are 3 gallon at best.Read more

The bags are sturdy and hold dirt and moisture well. The pockets in the front make it easy to check the plant roots and to pick the tubers when they are ready. Since planting my potatoes, I realized it can also be used to check soil moisture levels. It is easy to move around even with it being topped off with dirt. Previous grow bags that I’ve purchased used to leak water through the fabric while watering, so I had to water it often. However, these seem to not suffer from that problem. Overall good value purchase.Read more
