   I was worried about buying counterfeit (ineffective) KN95 masks so I researched this manufacturer once the masks arrived and they were listed on the FDA and CDC government websites. These are very comfortable and work great by themselves or with a second cloth mask over top. I like that they stay in place so there no need for constant adjusting. These are also comfortable to breath in because they don’t cling to your nose and mouth.Read more

   Upon placing the mask on I immediately smelled a toxic odor and my mouth began to burn within seconds! I couldn’t get the mask off fast enough! It’s been over 30 minutes since this happened and my mouth is still burning as I’m writing this review. Brushed my teeth, gargled, rinsed my mouth many times and the burning sensation is still with me. Thought I might have to go to the hospital. I was scared!! I ended up calling poison control and they told me that it was probably the FORMALDEHYDE that’s used in this mask. WHAT THE [email protected]#! I’ve been purchasing masks for over a year and a half.    I’ve been looking for a mask that would prevent or have little fog when I wear my glasses. I have found it! It fits nicely on my face and definitely prevents fogging up my glasses. I have bought theses masks a second time two days after the first delivery because I liked them so much.    Previously purchased a pack of 60 for work which were individually packaged. This pack of 20 was described as individually packaged and the box indicates this also on the outside but they are actually packed in four bags with five masks per bag. The masks themselves seem to fit well and are comfortable.Read more

   First, read up on the differences between N95 and KN95 masks – the latter are not approved by the FDA, but they have a list of manufacturers that are on a list of those approved for emergency use. These masks are on the list and are made by the Guanzhou Nan Qi Xing Nonwoven company in China. No representation is made that these masks stop viruses, most likely for legal reasons. N95’s stops 95% of viral droplet particles and woven cotton masks stop 15%, with other types having an efficiency in between. Still, any mask is better than none. The good: My masks came individually wrapped, although not all users have had this experience. They fold for easy carrying. Lightweight and don’t impair speech. The mask itself was made of comfortable material (see below). A nose bridge wire helps to adapt the mask to the wearer – good for keeping glasses from being fogged and absolutely necessary to keep the mask seal intact. Overall, the mask seals nicely at all edges, which is the mark of a more effective mask. Breathing was fine, even with the good seal. The interesting: [See picture] The masks are advertised as having five layers, but I could only find four. Perhaps two of the layers are fused, as this is the only layer I couldn’t see through. Both the outer and two inner layers are nonwoven but see through. The mask passed the light and blow out the candle tests. The porous layers may not be as free to pass viral droplet particles as you might think for two reasons. First, is called the Swiss cheese effect – yes, there are holes big enough to pass a viral particle, but the holes don’t line up and most particles are stopped. Second, holes in masks have a static charge that stops most viral particles from entering through the hole. The bad: I have an average face/head size but found the ear loops to be too tight for lengthy wearing. Good for the fit but bad for comfort. Wish these loops were adjustable.Read more

   This mask was too small for my bearded face. My ears get pulled down and air seeps around edges. There’s not enough space on the inside of the mask. My lips touch the fabric she mask when talking.Read more
