I used this to break in my small, Spanish wood humidor. I have started just using distilled water but I wasn’t getting the best progress. But after just two days with this solution and I was good to go. Since then I use it to fill up my humidifier. And everything is great. The humidor stays right at 70. The cigars are wonderful. Everyone is very happy. I have no doubt you can do it with distilled water, but with the rests I am getting using the Humidor Solution, I don’t have any reason to try something else.Read more

I was getting annoyed using the humidifier with my humidor, it was a pain to keep in the sweet spot and only lasted a couple weeks at a time. This stuff is so completely hassle free it’s insane. Just pour it into the humidifier (I have the bead type one) and leave it alone. perfect 70% humidity. As soon as it starts to dip, you know it’s time to refill. 16oz bottle should last a loooooooooong time, and I’ve noticed absolutely no flavor imparted into the cigar.Read more

I previously used distilled water in the humidifier for my box style humidor. It worked ok, but was difficult to keep a consistent humidity level. I also used Boveda bags, but would need 2 bags depending on how many cigars I kept in the box. I let my humidifier dry out and started using this solution. So far it has worked perfectly. I filled the humidifier with the solution, put it in the humidor with about 15 cigars, and the humidity level stays between 69%-71%. I would definitely recommend this product for a box style humidor.Read more

I had previously been using a sponge type humidifier and distilled water. It worked, but required a lot of attention. So I bought one of the gel bead humidifiers and this solution. I filled it according to the directions, made sure the solution was all absorbed, and checked my humidor three days later it read 60%. I took out the humidifier and added a little more solution, etc. and put it back in the humidifier. Three days later it still read 60%. Which I guess will have to be good enough for me.Read more

Product itself is good. Nice large bottle. Shipping container used was a joke. Putting a large plastic bottle filled with liquid into a bubble pack *envelope* is lazy. It had been wacked and stepped on so many times that the pressure made the product break the seal on the bottle. Envelope had puddles of product in it.Read more

This PG solution is good but it is not at the proper percentage to release a 69-70% RH. It is close though. Like all PG it has a distinct smell. Its not good or bad but distinct. I will use it until it is all gone but I won’t get any more. If they release a PG concentration that will support a RH of 70% then I will get that.Read more

The solution appears to work as intended but the cap was not a flip-top as advertised. Thus, it was a pain to use and used too much at a time because of the improper top.
