This toy is super cute my son loves the shark and the little fishes it comes with, but the reason for 3 stars is because it’s hard to get all of the water that gets stuck in the handle and after only a couple uses I noticed rusty water dripping out. So I feel for a bath toy they should of constructed the inside better because I always shake and pull the handle to let the water drain, but no matter if I do that it never gets all the water out. So just beware water gets stuck inside and rusts. With that being said my son does love this toy and he plays with it all the time.Read more

The concept is great but this is not built to actually be submerged in water for long periods. My little one of course sub,egged it in the bath daily and I took it out of the water and tried to drain the water that goes inside but never can get all of it out. About a week into having it I noticed black stuff coming out of it (from inside the enclosed body). It was rust residue. Horrible materials that rust so fast. Do not recommend unless your kids are angels and won’t submerge it.Read more

Paint scrapes right off of this toy. You can remove it with your fingernail. See pictures. I wouldn’t recommend a bath toy with peeling paint to anyone. Returned and refunded. I’ll have to search for new bath toys.Read more

My grandbaby girl of a 1 and a half years was able to break the jaw completly off i was so very shocked that a baby toy could do this it was very sharp and put her in danger i dont think you should sell it to any one else Amazon. First very happy with purchase, but after 6months use the spring to release the jaws broke/stopped so jaws remain open. Also as you can see in the photo the fasteners are steel (should be stainless steel or duplex) due to wet environment the product is used in. As a result I stopped using this product not to contaminate the bath water with ‘rusting metal’ really not ideal – not sure what the manufacturer was thinking really!?Read more

Bought for a grandson who loves anything shark. It’s mostly played with by the other one who loves ‘containing’. He uses it to grab things, but also loves to ‘feed’ it. Dropped a star because the paint has chipped off the nose- obviously not a deal breaker for a child.Read more

I love playing with this toy with my 3 year old. I get a lot of amusement from tilting the shark upward and opening its mouth slightly and pretending to make it do horrible laughs. Evil villain laughs, cartoon character laughs, scroogish sarcastic laughs. My kiddo wasn’t as amused with my laughing shark shenanigans as I was. My two year old son LOVES this gift. It hasn’t even made it into the bathtub yet as he just loves to make it chomp and run around with it! It works well, HOWEVER, when it arrived the packaging was very bent and torn. Also, the paint on both eyes is fading and the paint on the teeth has chipped significantly. The toy has been in our home for 5 weeks. Not nearly long enough to be showing signs of wear like this. Don’t buy this! The quality is terrible the paint is rubbing off after one use so the eyes look like it dead and melting. Also the paint left residue in the tub at my rental. Update: after a few more weeks I realized the screws were metal and it RUSTED!!! This is not safe for kids!!!!Read more

My 2yr old son loves this toy! I gave 3 stars for cleaning because it does fill with water and require daily draining. I keep ours clean but I can see some people may get mold in it fairly easy. We have toy baskets to allow bath toys to hang and dry in the tub. This toy is good because it does not pinch. The chomping action is gentle. 3 stars for durability because in a short time the chomp action diminished to about half chomp and stayed there since. It still works so we have kept it.Read more

Less than 24 hours use and ruined already!!! Absolutely appalling, bad design and poor quality!!! Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son who loves bath time and upon first use paint came off almost instantly in the bath. Utterly disgusted with item for the price would have expected a lot better quality and last ability, as a bath toy you would expect it to be able to survive just that. I paid nearly £10 for this item but when I unpacked it for my daughter to use in the bath I found it to be very cheaply made and not worth the money I paid at all. The fish are thin plastic and the shark is also cheap looking. The toy actually looks like something you could buy form a £1 shop. I have no idea how come its got such good reviews. The toy is cheap and flimsy. Also I have no idea how it’s meant to be educational unless you wanna teach your kid how to pull a trigger on a cheap toy and that sharks eat other fish.
