So far I like the gauge, it appears to be well built and accurate. However I am rating it low because Jaco management will not stop asking for a review. This company has badgered me with four emails asking for feedback. I buy quite a bit of stuff on amazon. It’s ridiculous to review every little thing I buy. This company is especially annoying, asking for feed back 4 different times now! Can’t I just buy your crap without being repeatedly hounded? You asked for a review so here you go!Read more

I finally grew tired of the inaccuracies of cheap analog/pencil pressure gauges and the hassle of batteries for digital gauges so I decided to order two of the JACO Elite Pro gauges (0-60 PSI and 0-100 PSI). One for my wife’s car and one for my truck/trailers. I had two fairly accurate digital gauges that read within 2 PSI of each other. One failed a couple of days before I ordered the JACO gauges because of battery corrosion. The other digital gauge, with non replaceable batteries, was also dead. The JACO gauges arrived in about six days (free shipping.) Gauges are well built and very legible. The chuck fits the tire valves well and I did not experience any of air loss common with cheap gauges. These gauges actually swivel at both ends of the rubber hose. No problems using them regardless of the tire valve position. The 100% lifetime warranty is a bonus. As soon as I received the gauges, I decided to see how accurate the readings were. I keep my wife’s van tires inflated to 36 PSI using one of my digital gauges that failed,.) I checked the pressure in one of the tires and both of the JACO gauges read 35 PSI…exactly. See attached photo. No more inaccuracies or variations between gauges. I collected all the assorted tire pressure gauges I found in the vehicles/garage and trashed them.Read more

I bought this last fall and used it right away. It was just what I wanted. Used it again in the spring and everything was fine. I went to use it this fall and it was fine on the 1st 4 tires, but wouldn’t hold the reading on the spare. I went back to the first 4 tires and the reading falls to zero as soon as you remove the gauge. I guess I’ll go back to the old stick gauge reader. I’ve tried the digital readers before and they have all failed after a year or so. Still have my stick reader from 30 years ago.Read more

I am a long-time car freak…. worked my way through college as a mechanic/detailer/etc. Never lost my interest in cars and I have always checked the pressure in my tires personally. Tire pressure is actually a very important safety issue…. too many people treat it as an unimportant chore. So my old Draeger gauge finally failed… they aren’t available anymore and I looked around for a replacement. This model was well reviewed on Amazon and had favorable comments elsewhere. Not the cheapest, but high-quality tools are never cheap. It arrived very quickly and was well wrapped. A couple of days later I got a nice follow-up email from the seller, so I went out to the garage and actually unpacked the gauge and used it. It’s a good size and easy to hold and read as a result. The hose is a good length. But the big question with tire gauges is: how easy is it to seat on the valve of the tire? This one has a swivel at the gauge and another about two inches from the head…. easy to maneuver and easy to get a good seal on the valve and therefore a good reading. BUT mine didn’t hold a reading. So I answered the seller’s email with a question about whether this was within tolerances. The seller responded immediately and quickly got me a replacement, which works fine. So a good product is one thing, but a great seller is fairly rare. YOU GET BOTH! Highly recommended!!Read more

I own quite a few cars and maintain them myself. During the winter on the east coast, it’s especially important to check tire pressure. My TPS kept telling me my tires were off after I filled them. I went thru a few rounds of adjusting and checking the pressures only to continue to have this gauge read differently than the car’s system. I than went to another gauge and it read exactly the same as the cars TPS system. I than reconfirmed with the gauge at the gas station. Also the same. Therefore, this gauge I purchased here is off by anywhere from 3-4 pounds. It’s now useless to me if I can’t trust what it reads. My suggestion is to buy something else.Read more

Got this in the mail today and almost sent it back. The box was opened and the brass had a nasty scratch on it as well as some dirt on the dial face. Thought I’d give it try first though…then send it back. But I’m keeping it. This thing is built like a tank and I’m not going to worry about the scratch. I wiped off the dial face and now it’s nice and clear. Wish I’d bought one of these years ago. I checked all 4 tires on my wife’s car because her warning light was on. Found one tire that needed air. It was down about 7 lbs. As I moved to a darker part of the garage, the dial face lit up with a bright green luminescence. I didn’t even know about that feature. The swivel head and the pressure relief button are fantastic features as well. No more pencil types or digital ones for me. Pencil types are ridiculous and the one digital one I had, I busted a fingernail trying to open it to get to the batterys (the nickel sized ones that aren’t cheap) Couldn’t get it apart and tossed it in the pail. Spend the extra money and buy a gauge you’ll have for the rest of your life.Read more

Advertised as accurate to within 1 or 2 percent. The meter I received was off by more than 10 percent. All the cheap meters I have had in the past performed better than this. So-called “lifetime” return warranty is actually only good for 30 days and is subject to a restocking fee. You must have kept the original packaging and must pay shipping charges. I do not recommend this product.Read more

The item is as described, however, it is not as robust as I expected based on the description and the model name: “ElitePro”. It’s definitely a lower cost and quality version of this type of gauge than the previous model by ACCU Gauge that I had, but still acceptable. I would have expected it to be a lower price given the quality.Read more
