I have read reviews where people claim this is not 7 gallons, smaller than 5 gallon bucket, can fit 4 gallon trash bin in it.. etc etc bla bla bla..

I initially purchased Three (3) Gallon Grow Bags, but I found them smaller than I expected, so I didn’t feel as if they met my needs (they only looked like they were one (1) gallon in size), therefore, I purchased these Seven (7) Gallon Grow Bags (see picture comparison) This was the 1st time I have used this type of grow bag. The bags are made of high quality heavy fabric with very good stitching (no loose threads) that holds a sufficient amount of soil for planting a small fruit tree, a tomato plant, several radishes, etc., What I like about the grow bags is that while You can grow plants inside it, the fabric is thick enough to retain the soil, and yet, it is breathable and allows the water inside to drain out easily. It also has handles on both sides of the grow bag that makes moving it after you’ve filled it with dirt, much more convenient, because the bag does tend to get heavy once full. UPDATE NOTE (08/12/2020): Just a few fyi’s for those new to these grow bags. I have found that Plant roots can/will (as per my tomato plant) grow their roots right through the bottom of the grow bag (who knew!), so keep that in mind when placing your grow bag. (I put plastic water catchers under each of mine) Also, when You water Your plant, if You see water coming out of/from the sides of the bag, just realize that over time the soil inside the bag can become compacted (as with any pot), but unlike other hard pots, with these, all you need to do is to whack! the sides of the bag (give them a good couple kicks or use a shovel to beat the sides of the bag) to loosen up the soil again. • I definitely RECOMMEND the Seller (Btw, I did NOT buy the 3 gallon bags from this Seller.) • I definitely RECOMMEND this Product! For my purposes this is the perfect size for growing most plants. These also look Great on a Porch, much more neat and tidy with all of the grow bags matching. Everyone that has seen them who are unfamiliar with grow bags are instantly converted & want their own!..*smiles* Other than the roots through the bottom (likely because I am using plastic water catchers!) I haven’t experienced any issues with them and they are all still going strong, even after sitting in water all day in the water caught by the catchers! (so likely because of how I am individually using them.)Read more

As others have stated, the size advertised is very misleading. I purchased the 5 gallon bags however the bags are actually about 3.5 gallons. See photo attached, to the left is a 5 gallon water jug and to the right is a 4 gallon water jug. I’ve only inspected two bags so far and the fabric and handles seem sturdy however only time will tell. The bags do have a bit of a smell to them which I didn’t experience with other grow bags I have of a different brand.Read more

I used the 5-gallon bags in these little pools. We had gotten a late, late start on the garden with all the bad weather we had to contend with this year. The bags are fantastic. I will use them again next year for sure. They seem happy and everything has grown very quickly as if they are trying to make up for the lost time. I have posted the garden photos on my facebook page for my family to see what a great idea these are. I am very happy with the results of using these wonderful grow bags. I am looking forward to planting a bigger better garden Next year.Read more

I have only been using these for a couple months but they seem sturdy enough. I have not moved many of them but the ones I have moved have survived the weight of the soil. I did purchase some of the more expensive ones also and don’t see too much of a difference. These have longer handles and might not be as thick, but they are working fine for my plants.Read more

The second I looked at one I said to myself “That is NOT 5 gallon”. The picture tells the story. I wrapped one around a 5 gallon bucket. The bucket holds 1 gallon per 3 inches bucket height. There is a good 4 inches of the bucket uncovered. I also used 1 gallon containers to fill the bucket to the height of the bag. It took just less than 4 gallons to “fill the bag”. I found another bag on Amazon where the 5 gallon Pot Dimensions are: Diameter 14.0 inch, Height 10.2 inch. Doing the math this works out to nearly 7 gallons (27 qt liquid) or 5.75 gallons (23 quarts dry) @ $2.30 ea. The plan was to grow tomato plants in these but they are too small. It is still a good value. A 5 gallon bucket at Home Depot cost $2.85 (qty 10). And I don’t have to drill holes in the bucket with these bags. These 4 gallon bags cost me $1.58 ($19/12). I will get the 7 gallon at $1.75 each ($21/12) for the tomato plants. The one star is for the inconvenience the exaggeration of size cost me. I have tomato plants ready to transplant and no bags.Read more

I am loving these pots with their extra skinny 13” 7 gallon capacity. My only complaint are the handles should be sewn on further down as they get in the way watering.Read more

Bon pots de bonne grosseur. Aucune mauvaise odeur et un rapport qualité prix supérieur. Une étoile en moins car ils ne viennent pas avec les 12 étiquettes comme prévu.Read more
