Kit is great.. awesome assortment, good quality and bits are hardened not the cheap ones.. the major problem is that the handle is not magnetic or has any kind of locking system.. the bits constantly fall out.. you would have to tape the bits in just to hold it. Maybe i had a defective handle and they will see this and fix but it is unusable unless laying on my back.Read more

Bought this after buying a cheaper kit that broke on first use. Quality seems good, I used it to replace the SSD and ram on a 2012 MacBook unibody. I will keep it around because it seems to have every possible but size for electronics work. Worth the extra 5 bucks over the other kit.Read more

I have many computers/laptops from Apple/Dell/Hp/Lenovo and this kit has a bit for every screw in every one of them. The tools included are top quality and fit each fastener perfectly. They thought of every situation with this kit; you can attain more leverage by placing an extension into the handle of the driver and making a “T” handle instrument out of it; the flexible extension can be held at any point because the rotating mechanism is protected all the way from top to bottom. All of the pry tools and the anti-static strap fit nicely in the included zippered pouch. As they say the devil is in the details; the tool and bits are nicely contained in a case that has a spring action to move all of the bits to a vertical position, they even have ribs across the top clear cover to make it stronger. I’m getting into modding laptops here lately and these are absolutely perfect for my needs so far. There is a multitude of bits and priers for just about any purpose you have, along with a static guard wrist band to protect your hardware from damage. I’m sure the very delicate ends of them will strip and deteriorate with repeated use, but I feel that would be the case with anything similar no matter the price range. The one thing that kind of annoys me is the quality of the magnet on the screwdriver. It isn’t great, and that kind of defeats the purpose behind something like this. With bits and pieces so small that they could easily go missing as you work, it’s important to remove them properly for safekeeping. And just remove them safely in general. You can’t manhandle an electronic device with fine inner-workings; that’s how you destroy them.Read more
