Great stuff for detail dusting and cleaning! Purchased this to clean my keyboard as described. Cleaning the keyboard using this substance was not very effective because one still must disassemble the keyboard case and remove the keycaps to clean. After disassembly, soap and water for the keycaps and a strong vacuum cleaner with a soft paint brush does a good job on the keyboard. This stuff is like a strange life form. It starts out as a moist feeling sticky blob that is easily shaped. Leave it on a table and it will spread out and drip down into any depressions or holes nearby. It does leave whatever it touches with a sort of wetness that dries quickly and pretty clean. If it gets on glass, the glass should be cleaned a bit better, but that isn’t difficult. Formed into a ball, this slime becomes a hungry monster that engulfs dust and dirt particles and even some small chips. I had some lenses and electronic items that have complex grips, contours and varied combinations of plastic, metal, glass and rubber. A vacuum cleaner and brush just didn’t do the trick. This slime made quick and excellent work of picking up so much dust just by blotting the surface. Every bit of matte or semi-matte plastic around the desk from the phone to remote controls all cleaned up effortlessly. It can be rolled along edges, dabbed or blotted on surfaces. Over time, it does tend to evaporate and shrink but by then it changes color from its native day-glow lime green jelly to color to a dirty form that looks like it came from somebody’s nose. Even when dirty, it will still encapsulate debris remarkably well. One glob of it goes a long way. It is very handy to keep a resealable plastic tub from the kitchen to set the slime in when it needs to rest while working on some delicate piece such as camera equipment. If one leaves it near a table edge or complex equipment with openings into delicate innards, it will flow inside where it can, or drip off the edge of the table to gobble up any dirt on the carpet or floor. Putting in a tub works fine. At room temperature, it will spread out wide and flat. Pick it up and roll it or shape it and clean again. I learned about this the hard way when it flowed into the mechanism of a lens cap sitting next to it on the table and then continued on to drip onto the carpet. It was easy to clean the cap in water, on the carpet it came right up along with news to me about how much I need to vacuum. DOH! The packets of this stuff are shipped in a resealable plastic tub similar to those designed for food storage. Good idea to use that container to set the hungry monster in while putting on lens caps, formatting cards and sorting through gear while cleaning. This stuff really helped me clean up gear that was left on a shelf as well as stuff that was in storage between moves. It also cleaned up my phone nicely. As a keyboard cleaner, it would be okay for light external dusting to pick up what the vacuum missed. Vacuum and brush, then this, and if needed, microfiber cloth – all clean like new. I’ll tell you what boys and girl, I was skeptical at first because my wife’s always the one coming up with this weird hippie biodegradable crap and I’m just a regular guy that uses regular stuff. Well let me tell you this damn green goo is probably the best 7 bucks I’ve ever spent in my life. I’ve spent my entire gaming life buying stupid cans of compressed air, baby wipes, and everything else under the sun trying to control this dust that seems to gravitate to my electronics. As you can see from the pictures, it works great. A few tips: it works best if you apply a good amount of pressure to the gel. Let it seep down into the spaces by applying good pressure, it feels weird and you think it’ll stick and leave residue, it won’t. Let it roll in there BUT DON’T LEAVE IT FOR AB EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, gravity will do some of the work but you don’t Want it to do all the work. You can see my razer hunts man keyboard above with very deep keys and as you can see, I pressed it hard enough and let it sink for a few seconds long enough for the top of the eys to be almost transparent.Read more

When I removed it from the package I still worried it would happen. Once you knead it though it doesn’t break apart and it took the dust and grime off of a 6 year old gaming keyboard. The keyboard would look new if it weren’t for the wear marks on the keys from using the keyboard for so long.Read more

It works! The disgusting gunk between the keyboard keys was cleaned and picked up. I usually go through the usual clacking the external keyboard on the table getting out everything that fell between the keys from my hands-and there a lot. I then use the air spray and then a disinfectant wipe, i still did my usual clacking the keyboard upside down, and the air spray but this time I used this putty and it got everything and cleaned it of the yucks. I still used the wipe over it and my laptop but this stuff does works at picking up all the crud. .Read more

First off, I had trouble with the stuff sticking to the keys of the keyboard at first. I had to spend quite a bit of time getting all the left-behind pieces of material stuck between the keys. That was bad enough, but this morning I wake up to a keyboard that looks old and washed out. There is a film all over my keyboard keys and now it looks worse than it did dirty. Now I will need to truly “Clean” the keyboard – wish I would have just left the keyboard dirty. I hope I can get the film off the keys, if not, I guess it was time to replace the keyboard anyway.Read more

The media could not be loaded. IDK how long this product has been on the market but I just purchased this set of 5 in a really cute reusable storage case. I initially bought them for my laptops but found great joy for them in my car. Since the pandemic I hardly drive so my poor car is dusty so if you notice I only took out a pinch as to not contaminate the entire bag, and a pinch goes a long way. What is so cool about this Super Clean slime is the fact that it changes colors when it’s time to toss it. The color’s are shown on the packaging and easy to notice the difference.
