As a nanny, I feel I’m constantly on a mission to find the best educational toys to include in Munich weekly plans. With this, we’ve been able to use it for so many things! We do sensory bins and playdoh tables, and having 42 pieces saved us so much unneeded frustration. There was NO crying or fighting over pieces because there was many to choose from. I’ve been using this to also teach 4YO the letters in her name, and identifying the alphabet and the sounds. The quality is great, and next we plan to try and make alphabet cookies! So small, cheap, and flimsy. I guess it’s my own fault for not examine the descriptions carefully enough, but the rolling pins don’t roll, they’re all one solid piece. And the cutters are so small, you have the roll the doh very thin to make a letter and then then fall apart. Disappointed.Read more

The cookie cutters are smaller than expected and made of cheap thin plastic. They will break easily. They seem more like a $5 product than a $12.99 product (which is what I paid). There were no bonus extruders as promised. The tiny dimensions of the cookie cutters was not listed in the description. With such a small size, they should disclose the dimensions in the product description. They are more like a party prize than a gift. They should be marketed as a party prize and priced at $5 or less. I was going to give it as a Christmas gift, but now it is too late to buy another better built brand. I was very skeptical about these, because of the price. For a new summer toy to keep up my pre k kiddo working on his letters I thought I would try it! All the tools work very well, just as long as you keep them in a safe place when not in use. I assume if they were scattered on a floor and stepped on they would break easily. However he has been using them for a month with no issues, and they dont jam up with hard playdoh like some I’ve had before which is great! I’m not one to have a lot of extra time to check every tube when my son is done playing!Read more

The rolling pins and other utensils were much smaller than I expected, almost Barbie doll house sized. The alphabet and numbers were a good size though. About an inch and a half tall each. The plastic is a little flimsy but otherwise works ok.Read more
