Purchased for a Hotpoint® 7.1 Cu. Ft. Manual Defrost Chest Freezer Model #HCM7SMWW. The new basket is the one on the right (with the thermometer in it). This basket sits a little bit higher than the original basket. Unless someone is seriously OCD I don’t see any issues whatsoever with it and a individual is just replace the original one with a new one. Also you can’t purchase another basket from GE (who owns hot point) on their website, yes I did check.Read more

I purchased three of these for my Thomson 7.cu chest freezer. My freezer came with one, but 4 in total fits easily across the top. It helps me organize what is in my chest freezer, and I don’t have to bend over and dig into the freezer to get everything. I put the large items in the bottom of the freezer and smaller items in the baskets. If I want the large items out I can easily lift a basket or two out and put them back when I’m done. The baskets fit nicely on the flange of the freezer just like the basket that came with it. :)Read more
