I got this for my almost 6 year old son and he struggles very much to connect the cubes. I myself even struggle. It takes way too much effort to get them to connect, you have to line them up perfectly to make it work and then push really hard, and you end up unsnapping other while you try. Not sure where the positive reviews come from. This only led to frustration for us. Really disappointed.Read more

I got these to use as I homeschool my 4 year old. She loves playing with them and creating with them, as well as using them for school! My only complaint is they’re almost too well made and she can’t make them click together sometimes. Other than that, they’re perfect!Read more

Pros: – 115pc Math Activity Set – Dino Set – 15 double sided activity cards – cards are laminated and fairly sturdy – 100 – 10 different colors mathlink cubes – cubes have different shapes etched into them – Great for learning to discover patterns – Work on shapes, colors, numbers – Learn sequencing, addition, subtraction – Puzzles, games Cons: – None I ordered this set for my 3 1/2 yr old son.. He loves dinosaurs but also loves building, stacking, putting things together and lining things up so I thought this is a great activity to get him started with learning and following patterns etc. He played with this set for over an hour after I gave it to him. He wanted to keep playing with it.. But it was time for bed. The cubes were alittle difficult for him to put together every time but he was getting the hang of it by the time we ended our play. He really seemed to love this set. I recommend this item to others and feel that it is a pretty good deal. As it enriches their mind while they play.Read more

This set builds on all the principles being taught in kindergarten: pattern recognition, memory, counting, and more. There are 29 activities on the cards that use the blocks and shapes to build math skills. The blocks are pretty sturdy. They snap together top to bottom, and side to side. A longer sequence does have the tendency to fall apart, but this is mostly done at a table so it’s not a big deal. The cards are laminated and will last longer this way. There are 15 cards, but they are double sided. There is 1 card with the answer on the back, so there are 29 activities total. This set has fun colors, with a popular dino theme, making it very kid-friendly. Depending on the kid, this may feel more like play than learning. Being hands-on with the blocks seems to reinforce learning more than using just a workbook.Read more

Decent quality with easy-to-follow activities. My 4yo had fun playing with the blocks and was able to solve some problems like how I wanted him to. (We’ve been struggling with addition/subtraction but that can totally be age-related and mom is anxious). The only thing that can be frustrating at times is how easily the blocks fall apart. It’s not like real blocks that easily stack together. While the quality is nice and smooth, it easily falls apart, so my son wasn’t able to hold his hard-built dinosaur for walks and for play. Still, a very nice set and at least taught him some difficult-to-explain concepts.Read more

My children, preschool through first grade, really enjoy using this activity for math concepts. The cubes are sturdy, quality material that snap together easily. The activity cards teaches various math concepts that can be adapted to age and skill level; such as, patterns, shapes, and addition. It is a fun independent project too, as the instruction cards are easy to follow even without reading skills. We use them often as a break from workbooks. This can be used as a toy for the playroom or math manipulative for school, either way, my children enjoy using them.Read more

These are a great little set of blocks, perfect for working hand coordination and building cool towers. The best part, though, is the set of cards that comes with the blocks, which have a ton of activities to help your child learn all sorts of things like math, patterning, cognitive thinking, and memorization. The cards do a good job of promoting education while also making the games fun and enjoyable for the kids, so that they are actually excited to play.Read more
