Pennies register wrong! I bought this specifically to be used with the Learning Resources Pretend & Play Teaching Cash Register. It claimed to work with this item but the pennies are all wrong. The cash register says all the pennies are dimes. Of course this is confusing when my child is playing the games where it asks him to put in a specific amount. He puts in the correct change and it says “oops….that is incorrect”. The dollar bills are also not as realistic looking as the ones that came with the cash register. They are white instead of green. My son wants to keep them to play with but DO NOT BUY THIS if you are wanting to use it with the Pretend & Play Teaching Cash Register. They cannot be used with the automatic games since the pennies don’t register correctly.Read more

These turned out great for our “homeschool corner” as we call it. We started homeschooling this year due to schools becoming CRT/COMMUNIST cesspools. If you’re like me, you were told (tough ish) get out if you don’t like it. (FREEDOM Loving American Parents Don’t Matter to the Communist school boards) I suggest you homeschool them yourself! I was scared at first but it’s mostly in your head and man do I wish I would have done this from the beginning. There is nothing more precious and priceless than our children and their future. I had no option other then pay 4,000 bucks for online school OR allow my kids to be taught propaganda by woke Marxist wolves! Instead I bought curriculum from (Time4Learning).com as well as Christian curriculum to ADD to it! I spent almost the same as I would in a school year, less in fact! Between supplies wardrobe and paying the school it racks up! I only needed to spend half on wardrobe the rest went to Homeschooling. Many other parents have done the same or pitched money in a pot to pay a parent or former teacher to teach their kids via Homeschool. Check the laws in your state! Our children are worth every dang penny! Stand up We The Parents! ” So worried about leaving a better planet for our kids, how about leaving better kids for our planet”-Tom MacdonaldRead more

This is working great for helping my 5 year old learn to use money. It looks so realistic! Debating whether or not to buy another 3 packs so we can have 100 pennies (only 30 pennies in the pack. 20 quarters, dimes and nickels. I think 20 $1 and 10 $5, $10, and $20. But this is just from memory, don’t take my word for it.) I think it’s a great quality, thin enough to feel realistic but does not tear too easily. Great value in my opinion.Read more

If you ordered the cash regisiter don’t by this..they neglected to mention it comes with it. I kept the one I ordered and am trying to teach the grandchildren the value of the coins. funny how they think the value of oney is more when it is a coin. Ah, the magic of coins throughout the centuries.Read more

Just received this set (I actually ordered 4). It is the same size as real money. See my attached photo, I placed a real dollar bill beside the play money. I bought this to “pay” my daughters for the chores they do around house and for doing kind things for others (I think real money is filthy dirty). When they want to buy something at the store they turn in their play money to me while shopping and I pay for the item with my debit card. Its a way to teach them the value of money, aspects of shopping, understanding price of items to the amount of money they have and if they loose the money they aren’t loosing actually money. I started the chore jars two months ago and they love it, especially my 5 year old. Can’t wait till they get home to show them the “new money” I got!!Read more

It looks like the real thing. Now I’m constantly thinking I’m finding money on the floor only to be disappointed when I see it is fake. My son loves it. We got it for him for Christmas. I got him the Learning Resources cash register not realizing it already comes with play money and coins. Now we have play money everywhere! If you are getting the cash register, skip this, because you won’t need it. I would’ve given it 5 stars if I wasn’t constantly thinking I’m finding money everywhere. It’s almost too real looking.Read more

I love these! I bout a money game for my kids and these coins were in it. I bought more because the coins look so real I kept taking them out to use for teaching money in my class. The bills look great too! I think it’s important to make them look real because kids need to be able to really recognize the coins as they appear with real money so they aren’t confused.Read more
