In love with these lights! I grow a LOT of house plants and this set is amazing. I use them in my little greenhouse that holds a variety of life, but works great for them all. My giant sequoia seedling was almost dead until I installed these lights, and now its growing faster than ever. Run them in various schemes for about 12 hrs a day and it used less electricity than a single light bulb. I didnt use the sticky strips provided, I just use bread ties to basically let the lights dangle from the support bars. The strips have handy little looped on each end. Very little heat even when on the highest settings. Highly recommended for anyone despite knowledge of horticulture.Read more

My biggest complaint is that they are already dead – I installed them on November 7th, and they stopped working on December 26th. The power supply feels hot, so I think it just had too much and gave up the ghost. My comments on the lights otherwise: Cons – 1) the stickers used to secure the light strips are permanent, and there are no spares. I wanted to reposition a strip, and had to use a knife to remove it. The sticker was useless after that, and I had to secure the light strip with clips. This isn’t a negative, per se, but something to be aware of. You can’t move them once they’re installed. 2) The timer “loses” time. I had it set up for 12 hour cycles, but the lights would turn off/on in slightly less than 12 hours. They turned on about 10/15 mins early each morning. Not terrible, again, but something to be aware of. The 15 minute creep over a week means the lights turn on over an hour early at the end of the week. Simply resetting the timer daily fixes this, but having to fiddle with a timer everyday kind of defeats the purpose of a timer. Pros – 3) The lights were great. I really liked the dimmer function (you can make the lights brighter and dimmer), and liked that the timer had several hour options. One problem and Three suggestions for the manufacturer. Problem: No clear instruction on how to use the tapes. Somehow you need to cut it into two pieces and stick only on the two ends. However, the tape given is much much longer than you need, which leads to confusion that maybe you need to stick it at the center bar (which is wrong and you might not be able to take it off again) Suggestion 1: Give a clear instruction on mounting Suggestion 2: Make sure your promoting images and videos are true. (I see 3M tape in the video, while I don’t think the one I get is) Suggestion 3: Maybe also provide adjustable strings that can be used to hang the light. (in that case you don’t need to drill holes or deal with tapes that can be unstuck or ruin the surface.Read more

I have been delving into gardening on my own and love it. I used a seed grower but I wanted to do more seeds at once and grow lights were the way to do it. I was excited to use these strip lights under a shelf over my seed growing place. So far they seem to be helping quite a bit. My seeds have sprouted within a day or two and reach toward the light quickly. These lights were easy to install and look super cool even if I don’t have seeds growing since it looks more like ambient light.Read more

Great product. Arrived on time. Value is standard, ~$10 per strip of lights. ***Cords are all the same length from the junction to the light strip*** Picture looks like the cords are different lengths but they are not. BEST PART – Only light strips for plants that I found switches between Blue, Red, and Mixed LED’s. Very helpful since I mostly collect leafy houseplants and don’t care for flowers or seedlings. *Not sure how the cords interacts with a timer. It already has a 9 hour setting which I’ll probably end up setting tomorrow morning.Read more

I was trying to find simple grow lights that didn’t look obvious and were easy to use. I purchased one of the flexible tripod grow lights with the 3 bars, and it just looked klunky. Then I found these. I really appreciate the video from the seller, showing exactly what I’m purchasing. That video is what sold me. These came quickly and were packaged well. I used the sticky tape and placed one light under 3 shelves. It’s plugged in about 4 feet away. These lights aren’t going anywhere! I planned to use the screws, but don’t even need to! Quick, simple set up, and incredibly easy to use. I like that it has all the different light settings as well as the timer function. You can have 1, 2 or all 3 lights on. Multiple choices for brightness, and 3 light color choices. In just a couple weeks time, I can tell my plants are very happy. My hoya queen and princess both gave me pink leaves and that has never happened! Overall, I highly recommend this grow light set, for the price and quality. Finding good lights under $20 has proven to be quite tough. I’m actually back to get another for my window shelf!Read more

Update: After 2 months of use one light’s timer has stopped working. I have to turn it off and on 3 times to get it to stay on and have to do it every day before I go to work. If I don’t it stays shut off. Original: Have been using these lights for a little less than two weeks. Liked them so well ordered another set and just put them up on the other side. I’ve have no issues the timer works accordingly. (When my toddler doesn’t mess with them.) The lights don’t get hot. Before I got my second set I was moving these around through out the day to cover all my plants. Had them on for a week straight and they were just slightly warm. Not hot to touch. You can also use just 1 or 2 lights. I haven’t changed the setting I always have mine on all the light colors but I’ve noticed a difference in a few of my plants already. My wandering dude has taken off from the small cuttings they were. And a few other low light plants. My only complaint would be the cord is kind of short.Read more
